Pens played a hell of a game but didn’t have enough talent on the ice. This is the first time I’ve watched hockey and got pissed off when my team went on the PP. It’s a guaranteed 2 min off the clock with no points.
I am glad i won’t have to watch crosby’s or cooke’s dumbasses play again this season, can’t stand them
Lightning > Caps
Flyers > Bruins
Preds > Canucks
Wings > Sharks, this might be the most exciting series for the rest of the playoffs. This one is going to 6 or 7, with really close games.
Ultimately, I expect Philly to take it all if Boucher/Leighton do their thing well enough. Pronger, Richards, Briere, Carcillo, Giroux, Hartnell, Riemsdyk, Timonen, Leino, Laperriere, Versteeg… ouch.
Unless Nashville somehow makes it to the finals, the cup will most likely stay in the West from what I’ve seen so far.
Red Wings have exact same matchups as the last year - Yotes in the 1st round, Sharks in the 2nd.
Except this time around the fish are going down.
GO WINGS!

Definitely agree on this one, I think it’s going to be it’s own little Stanley Cup.
It’s going to come down to which goalie stands on his head. There is so much talent on every line of these teams, I really see whoever gets hot in the cage deciding this series.
fuck the habs
Washington is taking the cup
Capitals over Lightning
Bruins over Flyers
Predators over Canucks
Sharks over Wings
I really hope the Bruins can do something about their power-play. If they can do that, they’re unstoppable.
Interesting to see that the Canucks only put one in the net against the Preds last night.
Can’t wait for the Sharks to get things going tonight, should be an insane series. Dan Boyle is super pissed about his performance thus far, so I’d love to see him come out with his hair on fire.

On what do you base this good sir? The Caps have pretty thoroughly dominated the Lightning over the years (4-2 this year as well)
I know Neuvirth is a rookie but I’d take him over Roloson the way they’re both playing right now. Hopefully I can be at game 1 tonight.

I don’t have to base it on shit.
but really I base it on Tampa’s offense, it just seems like too much.
neelydan def likes tampa over the caps

Too bad anteaters are known to be shitty hockey predictors

sharks-red wings
Not to say Canucks-Preds aren’t talented, not in the least. I found the latter game much more entertaining, even though I watched it -half-assed.

BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE.
Epic first game between the Sharks and 'Wings, very happy to see it go to San Jose.
Although I think I shave 1 week off my lifespan for every minute of overtime that I watch.

Brutal penalty to take, penalties in OT are almost always fatal, if not the PP itself the tiring effect it has afterwards
But that penalty on Pavelski, when Howard shoved his face. What a load of shit.
Well Boston looked good today…
I hope the Preds can get a win against Vancouver tonight, it would be nice if the Cankucks didn’t have 10 days to rest for the next round.
