NFL Draft 2011 LIVE SPILL

What is yalls take on Palmer wanting to either be traded or he will retired and Mike Brown not allowing a trade? Personally, I think Cleveland is one of the two worst teams to get drafted by(the other the Cowboys) and has one of the worst manager/owner combo in all of sports. Palmer has been committed for years and finally wants the hell out of there just like Corey Dillion and T.O did. Brown is a dipshit quite frankly and has such a false pride issue that it is keeping him from making a smart financial move.
You mean Cinci ya? They should just trade him away. Mike Brown is a stubborn old miser. No wonder the Bengals are always shite. Just trade him for a late rounder and move on with Dalton. They have a lot of youth on offense and should just go the whole hog with rebuilding. They should just shoot Ochodickhead.

First why is Cleveland one of the worst Mike Brown owns the Bengals?
Second you just hate the Cowboys. :P
Who doesn’t hate the Cowboys except you, Jerry Jones and a few misguided souls from Dallas?

Let me tell you something, the cowboy fanbase stretches far and wide.

Once the Rams moved to St. Louis and the Raiders went back up north, Southern California is full of them. Doesn’t hurt that they do their training camp here every other year.

As @sdutChargers reported, Chargers keep Eric Weddle with a five-year, $40 million deal that includes $19 million guaranteed.

Okay explain this shit to me, Weddle gets this deal but V Jackson is probably not going to get close to this? What is the life span of a safety vs a WR?

Maybe the chargers GM is a racist bastard…
Steelers have played the Chargers every year for the last few years, playoff and regular season and in none of those games do I remember EW doing anything worth that kind of cash. I have seen him make some plays obviously but 40 mill worth? I wonder if he’s the guy who calls the defensive plays, maybe thats why they broke the bank.

DJ, are you going to start a new NFL thread for the new season?

Good question since we have been working off the draft one. Lol

Okay you talked me into it.

I think the Browns are going to be on the right track now that Holmgren is in charge(which sucks), probably only a matter of time before he’s prowling the sidlines and blaming yet another crushing loss to Pittsburgh on the zebras

I just heard the Brownies kicked Jake D to the curb, he’s laughing all the way to the bank.

You know what 007? I completely understand where you’re coming from. I’m a Chargers fan to a degree, and I see most all of their games. Weddel can stick people, staple 'em to the carpet when he wants to, but overall I just don’t see that kind of value in him either. He’s been burned o’plenty.

When he was drafted he was a foregone conclusion. Probably the Wednesday before the draft began he was already on SD sports talk radio and everyone was treating him like he was already on the squad. He’s no John Lynch or Rodney Harrison.

Yep, solid all around but it seems like I see the back of his jersey more than the front on the lowlight reels. I got to believe he’s the brains of the defence or something to warrent the money.
