They are actually talking about 3 days of sign your own players and then FA starts. There will be a lot of movement but it will be short and sweet. Just no time to drag things out, I think all this time the coaches have a game plan for FA. Them and the owners go after a certain group of guys kind of like a draft board. Just not going to be that weeks long wine and dine that normally happens in FA.

They should just do it auction style for guaranteed money. Every free agent player get up on the podium and teams start the bidding.
Well to honestly believe that there has not bee negotiations going on behind closed doors between agents and owners, then I have some beach front property in Arizona.
Wow i missed a lot in here, wasnt getting the updates to my email, strange.
The bears will not sign plaxico or To. They dont want an ex jail mate, or TO mouth. This is not what i think but this is how i feel they think.
I also think a rookie wage skill would be awesome, and teams wouldnt reach for players so much because they need and “impact” player, for the media to love. Good things will come from this.

x2 on everything you said. As far as Moss, thats a good question. 2 places that come to mind are St.Louis and Miami. This time, I dont think you will have as many interested as before. His reputation will certainly affect his appeal.
I have one or two questions regarding the supplemental draft. I keep hearing Terrell Pryor being taken in the 3rd or the 4th round. If say Oakland take him in the 3rd round, do they lose their third rounder in next years “normal” draft? Also why do guys not just declare for the normal draft? Cheers.
^^ yes, whatever team puts in the highest draft bid for pryor will lose that pick in the next draft. As far as not declaring for the actual draft… It’s usually because of unforeseen circumstances. Players decide to come back to school and then something happens that changes their mind but they’re too late for the regular draft. they leave school and enter the supp draft instead

Hurrah! Can’t wait til the deal is struck. Then we can have some real football news. After months of hearing about Ochocincos “events” and shit top 100 lists its going to be a real breath of fresh air.
I’ll be throwing up a thread soon in order to get the second season of the T-Nation Fantasy Football league all revved up. It will be a minimum of $20 buy in (we can vote on the final price later) and I’d love to get 12+ teams if possible.
PM me now if your interested, but also keep an eye out for the thread in the near future.
Im sure most of yall know now but they have settled most of the conditions for the new cba, including a new 123 million salary cap. This year’s cap will also come with a salary floor, adding a new element. Some teams will have to spend in free agency to meet the floor while others will have their hands tied near the cap. Im not positive but I think that puts Dallas in a tight situation. If so, this may be an even rougher year.

^ they are going to be cutting a lot of cap space money with Newman, Barber, columbo etc.
Dont worry Dalls will still make the playoffs this year.
WC was that you on google+ and count me in on the FF for sure.
Yea that was me. You said you have an NFL discussion going on there?
Thanks for the PM’s already about the T-Nation Fantasy Football League. It’s awesome to see that so many people are amped up for it. Should be really fun this year.
I’ll try to begin setting it up within the next week. Hopefully it coincide with the real NFL getting back online.
Again, anyone who is interested in joining send me a PM with your email. I’ll also set up a thread for it soon.
