I think people are going to be suprised by this years Raven’s defense. Remember they were one of the best red zone defenses last year and they are faster this year. A healthy Suggs (hopefully all year) and the addition of Dummervil (sp?) keeps pressure on Peyton so he shouldn’t have all day to pass the ball. Ladarius Webb is back too, which is a huge addition and Smith looks like he can fill in for Old Ray Lewis quite nicely.
The biggest question, like last year, is going to be the offense. The receiving corp is untested could take a few weeks/months to get it together. That’s what concerns me.
Does Denver have a running game at all?
I expect Denver to win because of home field and the Raven’s turnover, but I think it’ll be close and I won’t be shocked if they pull off the win. I say both teams will be in the 30-35 point range.
I’m hoping that Justin Tucker makes 3 50+ yarders and then Broncos D intercepts/forces fumbles (a pick 6 too) which Payton uses to strike 3 TD’s to no one on the other guys fantasy team.
