I think the Charger momentum ends this weekend when Manning drops bombs all over them.

Niners beat the Panthers, Capernick learned to win with his arm.

Seattle wins too.
Chargers have held Denver to two of their 3 lowest scoring games of this entire season.

The broncos have only played 6 games this year that were decided by a TD or less and 2 of those were against SD. I think SD can definitely win and in fact I think they will win. They have all the momentum, not Denver. Plus the number 6 seed vs the number 1 seed is 5 and 2 in recent years.

The last 4 Super Bowl winners (I believe) played on wild card weekend. The opening round bye isn’t what it used to be. Teams scraping to get into the at offs and winning wild card weekend have the momentum.

Besides that I think SF wins, Seattle wins and NE wins. No 28 point come back is happening against Brady.
I dont think SD played a full Denver WR core.

Denver by 9

I’m not sure about that but you may be right.

Denver has some big flaws and is very even, IMO, with other playoff teams. You know who the other teams to have close games with Denver were? Indy, New England, KC and the Cowboys. All playoff teams… Well, almost all of them

Remarkably, I’m with Gregron. If I had a bookie I’d take both the points and the odds on SD. I think they cover for sure, and have a real shot at a W.

The last 4 Super Bowl winners played their opening game against the Eagles…wanna guess who played Philly their first game this year?

edit: I said this wrong. Check my post below.

Nope. Baltimore played Philadelphia on their 2nd game. Home opener was Cincinnati.

Sorry should have worded it differently. The past four super bowl winners played in the Eagle’s home opener.

That’s… not correct. What?

Like Berg said…

It’s the team who played in Phillys home opener, not necessarily the season opener.

I think this weeks games will be a lot like last weeks games.

They are all pretty much toss ups. Either team could win and I wouldn’t be surprised.

I can definitely agree with this. There isn’t a single game I look at and think there is a definitive favorite. The closest one to me would be the Seahawks at home over the Saints but even still you never really know.

We were missing Welker (he had been shut down for the rest of the season at that point), DL Derek Wolfe and CB Champ Bailey (not a big loss as he never recovered from the foot injury suffered in training camp.

All told for that game we had 18 guys on the injury report, right now we have one guy listed as out for the upcoming game DL Wolfe.

Having Welker back makes a huge difference.

On the San Diego side their center looks to be out with a concussion and Mathews is being held out of practice this week due to an ankle problem.

The biggest key will be similar to the first game they played in San Diego, if the Broncos can hold them to field goals on drives the Broncos come out on top. But not nearly like the line Vegas has.

Its raining like a bitch here in the SeaTown. Weather could be a factor.

…Just throwing out my picks for this weekend.

Niners 24, Panthers 20
Saints 27, Seahawks 24 (Unless M.L. can run the ball better than he has recently)

Pats 30, Colts 24
Broncos 33, Chargerss 24

I’m going with Carolina 24 SF 17, NE 34- INDY 27, SEA 28 NO 20 , DEN 35 SD 31

'Hawks

Niners

NE

SD

We just lost power, and its blowing and nasty out.

I may need to seek another venue to watch the game.

That blows hopefully you find a place to watch it

Well this games over.

Sean Peyton is an idiot. His RB is killing it and he keeps trying to throw the dang ball in rain that is coming down sideways because it’s so windy.
