That flag was such BS. Any big hit is a flag, even if it’s shoulder pad to the chest.

This is why football is starting to suck more these days. Whitner puts a clean, big hit on Jackson and he gets flagged for a penalty. I mean he lowered his shoulder and hit him directly in the chest. I guess the refs would prefer he hits him in the knees.
Beat me too it
I guess that pick summarizes the Falcons season. I thought for sure after that onside kick they were going to score a touchdown and win. Sometimes the ball just bounces the other way or in this case gets tipped the other way.

Now that guys are going low it does make for some great hurdle jumps by running backs. Seen a few good ones this year.
The lowly NFC West has come a long way:

The jets are 8-8 and it looks like a couple people here need to fucking blow me.
I will be back Thursday to watch some stat nerd crow eating.
Alright Jets and Bengals, way to win!! Chargers are in the playoffs!!! No matter how ugly the win was, it was still a win!

Congrats. Tough assignment heading into Cinci though.

It is against that D, but the Chargers won in Denver so anything is possible.
Fun fact. Phillip Rivers is 30-6 in December.
Also glad they aren’t going to fire Rex Ryan. His team played well for him today.
Classic Romo
Alright, playoff pick’em time. Who do you got?
Chiefs at Colts - I’m going with the Colts on this one. The Colts beat them up pretty good in Kansas City and this one is in Indy.
Saints at Eagles - I like the Saints even though they aren’t playing at home.
Chargers at Bengals - I’m picking the Chargers as the homer pick even though the odds are stacked against them.
49ers at Packers - I like the Packers in this one. I think it will come down to what defense cracks.
Chiefs at Colts - I’m going with the Colts on this one but who knows?
Saints at Eagles - depends on the weather conditions. It’s its windy, snowy and rough I pick the Eagles. If the conditions are nice then probably the Saints.
Chargers at Bengals - I hope it’s the Chargers but bengals will probably win cause the chargers D is so terrible. Chargers already beat KC, Denver and Indy so again… Who knows?
49ers at Packers - 49ers all the way. They absolutely smashed the Packers last year in the playoffs and again at the beginning of this season. Their D is much better than the Packers and I think they’ll handle them again this week.
This week is rare in the NFL… I really wouldn’t be surprised by any one of those teams winning their games. I honestly don’t think any team is a true “favorite” this week. Lots of even matchups.
Chiefs @ Colts- I’ve got to stick with my Chiefs. We played our absolute worst game of the year against the Colts earlier. We actually have a better record away than at home. It’ll be close but I think we can squeak it.
Saints @ Eagles-Hope the weather is decent and that the Saints come out in a high scoring affair.
Chargers @ Bengals- Bengals haven’t lost at home all season, doubt they start now.
49ers @ Packers - I think the Packers will finally get over the hump against SF. Hope the weather is shite to give the Packers an advantage.

It was sooooo sweeeeeet to see Jerry Jones writhing in pain right after Orton’s game losing interception.
Soooooo sweeeeeet.
(However, despite that interception Orton played some pretty good ball)
Next up: Wild Card Weekend – consistently THE best football of the year.
Uh there is never bad weather in San Fran Red, I mean its year around 70’s.
Chiefs at Colts - Depends on what version of each team shows up. Both teams have had extremely good games and extremely bad games. Andy Reid has a pretty good record in the first round of the play offs. I am probably going to root for the Colts though because TY Hilton and Donald Brown did pretty decent for me in fantasy.
Saints at Eagles - Normally I would not pick the Saints in an away game in the playoffs (0-5 all time in the playoffs on the road and 3-5 this regualr season) but its Philly. They don’t exactly have the most advantageous home field advantage (that whole 10 game losing streak). I think Brees will be looking for revenge on Foles for breaking all of his high school records (they went to the same high school). I give it to the Saints.
Chargers at Bengals - Cincy. Their defense is monstrous. They proved that Dalton can give up turnovers like candy and still win. On top of that they are undefeated at home. Who dey? Who dey?
49ers at Packers - No fucking clue. I want to say 49ers because they are a more balanced team but who knows what Rodgers has up his sleeve. Could go either way but I will give the slight edge to the 49ers because of their defense.
Chiefs @ Colts: I think the Chiefs D will be the deciding factor in the game, that and TY Hilton is the only playmaker for Indy now.
Saints @ Eagles: I have to go with the Saints on this, if the Dallas D can stop that offense then the Saints D will shut them down.
Chargers @ Bengals: Bengals D is #3 in the league and that front 4 are dominating. They will disrupt Rivers
49ers @ Packers: 9rs will run all over the Packers D, even if Matthews plays.
