Can anyone explain to me why you allow Hillman to touch the ball in any type of critical situation? Why was he even in the game. He game them nothing in that situation. Not a blocker, less of a middle runner than Moreno or Ball, and a fumble machine just like Ball. Peyton didn’t play well at all either though so its not really just his fault, and Welker is amazing. I am done now.
Let’s face it people. Manning choked. Just like he does every year except once.
Lol! They lost one fucking game & now Manning is a choker. Some of you guys are so clueless.

& that ‘except once’ is one more then your boy.
I kinda was being sarcastic. Sorta.
Manning used to have a reputation as a choker. In College, in the NFL before he got his ring. He would throw picks in the championship games, sometimes (4!) of them.
Playoffs- 20 games, W9-L11, 481/761 63.21 comp rate. 32 TDs 21 Ints. Quarterback rating of 88.4%
Am I the only one who saw Manning go back ‘home’ to Indy, and play his worse game of the season. High pressure game, important game, nationaly televised game, and a poorly played game.
386 yds 3 tds and only one pick is not exactly poor by any stretch. Sub 60% completion percentage not great but getting pressured like he was will do that to you. He looked the worst he has looked this season, the wobble in his passes had Bill Polian question whether or not the Mathis sack/fumble safety actually hurt him a little, but he didn’t really play poor. Just average.
That’s why I put I was ‘kinda’ being sarcastic. He didn’t have a terrible game like you say, but everything surrounding the game and how he played gave me the ‘choke’ vibe.

But, to be honest I am not a Manning fan. I actually don’t like him or his brother. Or his Dad.

Kinda, but he didn’t really choke. Despite playing poorly for the entire middle of the game, he had them in position to win. Then Hillman fumbled. The people around him let him down big time on the last second heroics this time.

Fair enough.

His 1 pick was also 100% the fault of his right tackle, Peyton took a 3 step drop and was getting rid of the ball instantly, and that still wasn’t fast enough to avoid having his arm hit which drastically altered the throw.

His defense got him in good position when they stripped the ball from Richardson.

On that note, how many people think the Browns are dumb for trading Richardson for a 1st round pick now?

Chiefs are the only undefeated team left, just like everyone thought they would be.

That defense is dominant, 35 sacks already. Second half houstan was just plain, out-schemed as much as protection vs blitz.

what an awful display of football yesterday

Who is this everyone?

Edit: To be clear, I like the Chiefs a lot. Just saying I don’t really think that very many people at all thought that they would be the last undefeated team.

Didn’t play great, no. Choke, not quite. He still put them in position to win in the 4th despite some early struggles. If Hillman doesn’t pull a Romo, they probably win that game.
Yeah, he choked putting up 33 points. Has nothing to do with the defense letting up 39 points. It was all Manning choking.

Chiefs have got to be the most under the radar last undefeated team ever. No one talks about them except to say " they haven’t played anyone good yet, they’ll get exposed soon". You can only beat the teams in front of you and the almighty Broncos have thus far faced almost the exact same strength of schedule. If a team wins with superb offense and average defense their praises are sung to high heavens. If its the reverse they are lucky and just waiting to be found out. Some of the mainstream media and general fan comments (not here) would drive you mad.
I say Go Chiefs! I am happy for them after several years of misery to be having the year they are. The only undefeated team in the league. Good for them.

Theres been talk on local radio, that Ryan had alerted the refs before the game about the Pats propensity to commit this penalty…if thats the case, kudos on Rex, shrewd move.

They finally gave the ball to Ivory…that was old school ground and pound…34 rushes? thats unheard of nowadays
Why have they not been going with Ivory more? Powell is good but when he is health Ivory is the better back.
Geno has had 4 come behind victories this year. I am sure that has something to do with it.

Plus matchups.
I don’t like Geno, he seems like an asshole, but I got to give him props. He has been playing really well.

Yeah, I was saying that to my son last night. Compared to the Denver-Indy game, this one was painful to watch. Though I think Freeman eventually may be good he was clearly not up to speed on the offense which is to be expected.

A very fine line between confidence & being an asshole.

I’d reckon he was being sarcastic.

about the only entertaining thing from last nights game.

lots of injuries this week, sucks for Bradford and Wayne

edit: guess i fail at uploading gifs…

I really dont understand how you have arguably the best offensive player in the game on a team with no other weapons, with a QB who was just thrown at there with not knowing the offense at all, and AP does not get the ball at least 30 times. Instead Josh Freeman throws it (horribly) 50 times. WTF!

Giants are in big trouble…that Offensive Line is attrocious, it was check down city…

The offensive cordinator must have got in a zone where he couldn’t stop calling passing plays out of his amasement of how bad Freeman sucked. Here is a snap shot of what might have been going through his head.

‘What kind of pass was that? Let’s try another one. WTF!? He can’t suck this bad, we should try again. Wait a second I have Petterson lets give him the ball. Ok, that worked, let’s see if that helped Freeman.’ Repeat for 60 minutes.

I can’t believe Freeman isn’t cut already.

LOL! I actually feel bad for him…it was deplorable…but I blame the coaches for actually putting him out there. in the first place
