NFL 2012

Flacco is fine. He had a bad game, it happens. It would help if the O line didn’t leave guys untouched to crush him. It doesn’t help when your time of possession is down in most of the games thus far either.

He needs to improve in a lot of ways though. I’m more concerned with the defense.

They have flashes of “could be confused with an NFL team” at times though.

A solid pass rush would help. They aren’t too bad with the run. I mean there is hope, not much, but there is some.

pretty crazy almost half way thru season and only 3 AFC teams with above .500 records. nobody really dominant besides HOU. should make for some good games down the stretch.

Flacco is what 6’5"? No way should he have that many balls batted down at the line of scrimmage.

Fear not, they’ll still win the division.
Did you watch game? QB would have to be 10 foot tall to throw over those batted down balls.
I saw very little. We don’t have many nice days left so I was outside. I have to think that the Texans D is very well coached, the talent is there, that’s for sure. If you can’t get to the QB, fill your gap and get your hands up. Not as sexy as a sack but so what.
You could say that.

Dallas still has problems on O and I just cant figure it out, and no its not Romo. If you watch the games, it seems like he is the fucking only guy who knows WTF is supposed to be going on.
yeah on paper they should be damn good, solid wr1 and 2, (if dez works on dropsies) top TE, good rb when murray is healthy. shows romo has only been sacked 9 times so far so o line must be better…

He makes mistakes for sure, however a lot of his INT can be attributed to wrong reads by his WR.

Tried to fix that for ya, but should prob just throw that game out cause the stars musta been aligned just right to make someone be out performed that badly by cutler

Lol, yea he sucks donkey balls that game for sure, but he is Dallas QB, he will get more heat than anyone. Hell remember when Brady had a 4 int game last year, nobody will bring that shit up. Oh well. I am just glad the D is playing better than last year.

Charles Woodson will be out for 6 weeks with a broken collarbone. The year is looking more and more like 2010 for GB.

Who is his replacement?

Wow, big loss.

That Jet games was a combo of the following…

 • The Pats secondary being deplorable.
 • The Jets receivers being fucking awful.
 • Shows you how Sanchez can be a good qb when given time.
 • Shows you that even against the pats horrid secondary, the pop warner talent of the Jets wide receivers still could not get open. The o line has played well, Sanchez had time, but still no openings down field.
 • Keller helps A TON when healthy.
 • Shonn Greene has looked excellent, same with Joe McKnight kudos to him playing injured.
 • Gronkowski made Laron Landry look 6 years old.
 • Lex Hilliard is my new favorite jet.
 • What exactly was the point of getting tebow? Just to run into a pile?

And to give the announcers the opportunity to speculate whether or not he’ll be a running back.

There is no replacing Chuck, but…

Burnett has been “getting it” at safety, and our two young safeties (Jennings, McMillian) will both have to learn on the fly. As for his hybrid-nickel position, once Shields gets healthy again we’ll have a nice little combination of Tramon Williams, Heyward (going to be a stud,) Shield and Jarrett Bush if need be.

Jennings is technically his backup but with the transitions Capers put in, he may not fill that role. Williams and Heyward are more than dependable. Bush will quickly be jumped by Davon House. Bush just needs to go.

I think you meant “go,” not “do,” and I agree. For some reason I thought House was still banged up some. Yeah, he’s definitely coming into his own really well also!
Derek542 wrote:

Well, Raji is still banged up and has injury issues. Even then, I really can’t see him being the quintessential 3-4 nose tackle that we need to anchor the line. He’s hot and cold, a lot. Ryan Pickett, who is usually a very serviceable DE has had to fill in the role at nose tackle, which isn’t a natural fit for him. Other than that, young players - Jerel Worthy WILL be a good player, I think, in a few years, I got to watch a lot of him when he played at Michigan State, although I don’t really believe he’s a good fit in the 3-4. There’s some other “rotationals” who are, in all likelihood, average at best. But then again, we need someone besides Clay to help out with the pass rush.

All in all, I think our big focus next draft needs to be O/D line, kind of like how our whole focus this last year was essentially “back seven” players of defense. We’ll see!

I’ve yet to get to watch the Lions this year, but man they don’t look very good. Stupid mistake after stupid mistake. I feel like i’m watching the Chargers.

Defense has been meh and Stafford has been surprisingly average. Footwork seems off, seems panicked/rushed in the pocket, overthrowing lots of balls. Oh and their special teams, lol @ their special teams…

Always really liked him when he was with the Dolphins, thought he was really under utilized.

I’ve gotta say, these PIT uniforms today (vs WAS) look pretty fuckin tight.
