Maybe they have a deal with the regular refs.

So nobody is really saying anything about the Cardinals. Their defense has been mighty impressive and they might give San Fran a run for their money for the west.
^ Agreed, however they do have Kolb at QB and Wells is made of glass.

Which makes them the poor man’s 49ers.

Agreed. Where did they come from? Also, controversy aside Seattle is having a great season. Their defense is beasting. I’m a Steelers fan, so right now I’m looking elsewhere for excitement.

Looks like Seahawks have Russel Wilson as a starter?
Makes an offense plenty potent when your QB can create, but really I think Ol’ Pete is scrambling in order to compete against the 49’ers in the West. [/quote]
Yeah, so, FTR I was pickin’ up on Seattles mojo a month ago.
Not bragging, just subtly reminding everyone that I’m smart about these things, and should be believed and followed…
probably even worshipped.
Here we go.

Are you serious? 1 bad loss and you’re ready to jump ship?

they’ll be damn good if Mendenhall comes back and does work. They have absolutely zero running game right now.

No not really. Although I’d say the Broncos loss was rough too.
I will say that now that I’ve played fantasy for a few seasons, I find myself pulling for players as much as one team.

One of the reasons I don’t play fantasy.
I’m more into the team game, x’s and o’s and especially defensive and offensive line play to get wrapped up in stat monsters.

That’s one thing I wish commentators did more of. I really like it when they slow the tape down to highlight a particularly nice block or demonstrate how a play develops. I’ve only played pick up ball, and so those things you mentioned are still pretty alien to me despite having followed the game for years.
lmao. Belichick fined $50K for touching a ref… no Packers fines will be dealt for “profane” Tweets following the loss.
Glad the NFL knows how badly it fucked up.

I cant arugue with that. I think the majority of ff players couldnt tell you what a “draw” is. It gives people a false sense of expertise in football.

Agreed, first thing I always as is what defense front does their “fav” team run. If they dont know I am out of this conversation.

Mendenhall is NOT the cure for PIT’s woes in the run game.
Of course he’ll help but how quickly we forget that a fully healthy Mendy was a first-round bust for fantasy just last year…
edit - I keep mixing up the fantasy/non-fantasy NFL threads, my bad

The trenches are pretty much all I watch for the first few seconds post-snap. Of course TV-coverage is very quick to follow the ball.
Anyway, fantasy football is really about keeping dudes connected than it is about worshipping stats. That’s the real reason you hear about leagues going into their 15th year together, getting together for live drafts in vegas, etc. The stats just keep the score.

I don’t understand how the NFL fines AHrrison for farting on a QB, but Ed Reed head hunts twice on Sunday and… crickets.

This is what I get out of it. It’s another vehicle for ball-busting and chilling out over beers more than anything else.
