NFL 2012 Part 2

The Niners won but anyone who thinks the Niners are better than the Pats after watching that game, especially when the Pats have Gronk, has probably sucked too much dick in San Francisco.

I was impressed with the Falcons today. That was a straight up beat down.
We’ll never get respect, but our defense is flat good. We flat fucked up good offenses. We ended Brees’s touchdown streak and got a record high 5 picks off of him, got 3 picks off Peyton Manning and beat him, and shut out the world champs. The Giants haven’t been shut out in 16 years, Eli has never been shut out.
And we have beat every team we faced this year, the games we lost were series splits. Yup, we suck. Let the haters hate, it seems to be good luck.

Well after all of that it was a disappointing ending.
But what a game… Brady put that team on his back and damn nearly won it, in 20 minutes against one of, if not the best defense in the league.

There was lots of great games yesterday. The Cowboys game was a great game too…The Seahawks put over 50 points on the board 2 weeks in a row? It was a great football day yesterday.

Fuck Gronk and fuck his buddy Aaron Hernandez too. If Justin Smith doesn’t get injured in the third quarter the Niners’ pass rush is much more effective and Brady doesn’t have all fucking day to stand in the pocket on those three touchdown drives. If Mario Manningham isn’t injured the Niners might have scored even more points.

People can play the “what if” game all day, but the fact is that the Niners went out there and physically dominated the Patsies. Those turnovers weren’t the result of sloppy play, they were the result of the Niners forcing the issue. Take a look at the Hernandez turnover. If he doesn’t get fucking popped by the best free safety in the game today in Dashon Goldson, he probably doesn’t short-arm it on the next play and let the ball get knocked out of his hands.

These were two heavyweights going at it and the Niners won. If they play that game in SF or at a neutral sight it might have been even worse for the Patriots.

Will anyone watch the game tonight besides Print and Matty?

I dont know man, those are two teams that I just cannot watch.

That’s what NE fans said when they lost to NY in the SB. “If Gronk was healthy…” whatever, we came into your house and won and that’s the bottom line. You can say the SF 49ers left a lot of points on the field with miss snaps, fumbles and a missed FG.

If my team gets to the SB against NE, we’ll talk then.

It seems to me the Falcons D prepares better than any NFL team, especially for specific quarterbacks… both Mannings, and Brees, nothing to laugh at. Whatever they are doing in that video room, it is working.

However, the lack of a running game I believe will still bite them in the playoffs. Turner has been losing steam for awhile, and Quiz is not a three-down back. They’ll really need the bye, that’s for sure.

oh and I will be watching too, only because I have Locker for fantasy implications.

I hate the Jets, so I like watch them lose…
Bold predictions:
Wagers on how many interceptions Sanchez throws tonight? I am going with 3… and negative 15 years rushing. 2 fumbles. They will score 10 points. Defense will get a 2 turnovers, one will be a pick 6 or a fumble recovery for a TD and the other will turn in to a FG.

And if Tebow is on the bench and available, Sanchez can fumble 15 times and they won’t take him out…

I hope somebody runs in the wrecks ryan and breaks his leg.

I agree the running game is our Achilles Heal, but that just means the o-line needs to open up holes better, because turner is fading. He cannot push a pile anymore. That being said, it just means we have to be more intelligent on the application of the run.
I think the problem in mid season was this notion that the run was a given and Turner would get it adjusted. If we plan the run game in more detail, I think we can mitigate the issue. Turner did average 3.2 yards a rush this game against one the best d-lines; and it did not come all in 2 runs this time. That’s not great by league standards, but it’s improvement.
We can’t change the runners we can only use them smarter. We do that, we should be able to score on anybody. We do need more consistency out of the o-line, but they have been improving, barring last week of course. That was just a bad game, glad we got that out of the way.

Best sack dance?

hu hu…you said “sack”

best 4th quarter ever. first a butt fumble, now a foot fumble.

Yep

There was so much wrong with that game, I mean, wow…

The jets owner needs to take a sober look at what he’s got. I’d start with the GM and work my way down. Even fireman ed quit on them…

Actually, the owner should fire himself, this is his fault.

Tell us something we dont know

I agree the pats are the better team, they just had a bad game. Well let me qualify that a bit, outside the QB the 49ers are way better than the pats, but the Brady factor pushes them over the edge.

Okay, Tebow is better than Sanchez :stuck_out_tongue:
