God Derek, your owner is becoming the laughing stock of the NFL. Sunday, Jimmy Johnson comments that Garrett needs some help since he calls plays, is the OC, and head coach. Basically, he meant that Jones should hire a OC to help Garrett. Jones comments that Johnson was just a “walk around” coach. Are you kidding me? Does he realize there are 28 head coaches in the NFL that have a DC and OC under them? And to put down Johnson like that is just ridiculous. He saved his ass back in the 90’s. Someone needs to put him in a nursing home.[/quote]

Man there was some serious butt hurt between those two. Not to defend JJ, but there are a few HC in the NFL that are OC or DC, Morris is a young HC that is the DC in Tampa. Does Swartz have a DC?

My fear is that he will end up like Al in his latter years. BUT JJ’s sons is very involved and knows how to run things and let football people make football decisions.

No you are right. There are 4 I think(Morris, McCarthy, Bellichick, and Garrett). I didnt know his son was getting involved. I hope he has a better head on his shoulders. I dont think Jones is a horrible owner but he obviously has no clue when it comes to football savy.

Cant see the Giants beating the niners this weekend espescially with no bradshaw, nicks and now possibly manningham.

As much as I hate to say it I also cant see the PAts losing again…can they???

To be honest I really have difficulty seeing Brady lose 3 in a row. That defense might do it for him though.

Yeah I think so… I took the Pats and the points because I just can’t believe they aren’t favored in a game. But I’m not confident about it, the Jets are made to beat them.

I am going to be so pissed if my roommate makes me watch Skins-Dolphins. Puke.

Lots of great divisional games today. Lions-Bears, Falcons-Saints, Jets-Pats, Jags-Colts (kidding)

I’m pretty sure Nicks is playing today.

I’m really looking forward to this match up as it will be a great way for the 49ers to again grade themselves against competition outside of the NFC West.

Dallas opening it up nicely. Good drive and great TD pass by Romo. Would love to see a whole game of pure domination.

Agreed, big thing will be preventing Eli from making big plays deep. I’m not worried about them running the ball or dinking and dunking us to death.

Well they certainly wont be dinking and dunking w/o Bradshaw, with Jacobs slow and plodding run style they really lose and dynamic aspect to their offense. While hes not having a great season, Bradshaw is a very underrated RB, can do it all, he will be missed in this game, I still think the game will be close, honestly I think Gore is gonna kill the Giants.

Yes would love to see this, and I am seeing this, this helps gang green…I also would like to see Romo have some success.

Demarco Murray reminds me of Stephen Davis.

Me either…the idea of the Pats demise is waaaaay overblown

I think the demise of their offense is overblown but their defense is legitimately awful. Too many injuries and failed drafts… also some amount of cockiness in letting all that talent walk when they wanted money.

Loved Davis, great name from the past.

This game is going damn well.

That play fake by Cassell was a thing of beauty. This game is here for the taking if the run defense just steps up a little.

  1. Of course Forte already has a touchdown… that dude is eating his fucking wheaties this year

  2. Can someone explain to me why that wasn’t a fumble in the Giants-Niners game? What the fuck?

Forward progress was stopped…

I dont think anyone ever gives this guy props, he is always know as the guy who got punched by Buddy Ryan but Kevin Gilbride is one hell of an OC…

If Alex Smith starts looking like Joe Montana this is gonna be a long day for the jints lol. Looks like Harbaugh is gonna make Smith actually thrown the ball.

Ah thanks. My TV was still on Falcons-Saints and all I saw was the highlight.

I can no longer hide my raging mancrush on Harbaugh.
