Ya they are. Both have lost games and have been given 3-4yrs of chances. Both teams need to start looking in either the draft or FA for next year.
Ridiculous statement and utterly false, this is Sanchez’ 3rd year and has played Excellent against championship and playoff caliber teams when it counts (see Pats, Bengals and Chargers) Hes on pace to throw for 25 TDs and 13 INTs, all this with a weak O line and suspect run game. All of which Fucco does not have to deal with. Completion % and QB rating are all on the RISE…and hes only 24. ON TOP of this he is on pace to be sacked more than any other year he has been in the league

he Jets have invested too much in him for them to look for another QB. Last year stupid fucking talking heads would rather have Henne, Bradford and Freeman. They have all looked worse this year

Freeman: 7 TD 10 INT .73 QB rating
Bradford: 3 TD 2 INT .72 QB rating
Flacco: 8 TD 5 INT .76 QB rating
Henne: bullocks

Better numbers than the following QBs as well: Cambell, Kolb, Cutler, Rivers, Orton just to name a few.

The third year is where the QB should take a big step in terms of stats and thus far Sanchez has done same. Does have shit ton to get better at…of course, will he ever be a top 3-5 QB in the league, probably not…but I believe he will be winning all pro QB for the next 10-12 years.
Sigh. You know who else has amazing stats? Romo(yes I know he has started 5yrs).He has played like an elite qb at times and has won them tough games. But he also cost them season ending games. And like Cowboy fans, there will be many excuses you fans will give him for why the qb has had struggles. He is an above average qb along with Romo, Cutler, and Ryan. When it comes down to it, stats dont matter. They are only for the record books. You know who was an incredible qb? Brett Favre. But other than 1 SB, Green Bay didnt go anywhere for years before and after that. Thats why he was continuously doused by fans and analysts. I wont argue much about this topic because it will take forever to post back bc of work and we could both go back and forth and give examples on why we are right. Do I think he will improve? No. I dont see any sign that he will. But we will find out. And if he does improve as you say. Great. I hope he does.

Anyone of sound mind would still rather have Freeman and Bradford ahead of Sanchez.

Of course some regression and team-situation type stuff has kicked in and affected the individual stats comparison, but cmon now, let’s not get carried away.

Tell you who I like to watch out of those guys is Freeman.

If he was with the Cowboys or 49’ers he’d already be super dominant. I’m excited to see what he above all the others will do.

Don’t you think the criticisms directed at Sanchez are in direct relation to their blowhard coach?

I do.

Sanchez is good not great and neither is Flacco at this point in their respective careers. I’m still not sure who I would prefer behind center at this point. I’m leaning towards Sanchez but Flacco has a cannon.

edit/As I type this I’m listening to the replay of the Sanchez to Holmes TD catch that was disallowed, there was some mustard on that throw.

Question for all the QB experts on here

If Brees had stayed in San Diego where would he be today as compared to where he actually is today?

Its probably a long shot but possibly Washington. They are in dire need of weapons with Cooley, Hightower, and Moss down. They could use someone. But Shanahan could stand in the way of that.

I bring up stats because the third season is when a qb must take the jump statistically to which he has. Hes shown statistic improvement in what be considered harder circumstances. We will see…

LOL @ sound mind. Sanchez has proven much more at this point.

lol @ TO in pron, hahah.

I want to state now, my Ravens/Lion superbowl prediction, looks pretty shitty lol.

I think the Pats lose a barn burner this weekend. If Pitt passes > run, it is over for NE.

Brady doesn’t lose to the Steelers, and I fucking hate him for it.

As a bit of a downer, Aaron Smith has officially retired after a neck injury put him on IR for the rest of the year. He was, without question, the best 3-4 DE in Steeler history, maybe even NFL history, and the guy most likely to be called the “most underrated player in the league.”

Oh, Brady may very well pwn shit, but it doesn’t mean the D can stop Pitt form scoring 42 points, lol.

So happy you are back in the NFL thread.

Speaking of returns, where the fuck is Vin? Has he offed himself cuz the Fins are killing it this year?

Looks like Brad will probably be out again. Feeley looked quite poor like he did back when he was a rookie. How many of yall thought the Rams would make the playoffs? I was not expecting them to sink like this.

Good to be back bro.

I think it’s basically going to come down to turnovers. The Steelers aren’t forcing any this year, and they’re being very generous to opposing defenses. Not a good recipe.

esp if you don’t acknowledge those division rivals in BAL (H Ngata)

Arena football? Ouch. Unless he uses that to be ready for a comeback next year.

I’m guessing he gets hit by a small aircraft and dies. Or maybe I’m just hoping…
