Everyone, irrelevant of goals should do a 3x5 FB routine that is basically squats and only squats, for some undetermined period of time, until their squat 1RM is above some arbitrary % of BW, irrelevant of leverages.
Also, never ever, for one second, think about training like a bodybuider if you want to look like one. You should train like an Olympic sprinter or college football player, and you will look like a bodybuilder, long before the bodybuilders do.
BUT, if you want to be a powerlifter, feel free to jump on the most complicated specialization cycles designed by astrophysicists after you have been to the gym 6 or 7 times.
Also, for diet, you can only be one of two ways:
super fucking anal, like a contest BB’er even though you weigh like a 140lbs, or
completely unaware and think you are overtraining because you eat shit food in small amounts.
