She said she will be starting hCG at my next appointment.
I will look into the twice a week thing. I only have enough syringes though for once a week so I will need to look into obtaining more. I’ve never bought this stuff before so I don’t even know if I can get them without a Rx.
Is it a bad idea to try once a week first, and then evaluate how I feel to determine if splitting it would be beneficial?
Just know that in general, 1mg of adex will NOT control 200mg of T. You will also experience a slightly higher T–>E2 effect because of the once per week injection.
When I started this journey four months ago, I didn’t fully appreciate that E2 management would be the key to well being.
So I humbly suggest you think about either reducing the T dose or increasing the adex dose.
Lastly, 200mg/week of T cyp will almost certainly raise your HCT, Hgb and RBC’s to a dangerous level.
I wouldn’t think about testing until you’ve settled on a protocol. If you are going to inject once per week and take the adex at the time of the injection and use hcg, then I would test 4 weeks out. Be sure to have the blood drawn at the halfway point between injections. Understand, that when you inject once per week, your labs will be largely a function of timing. You will have peaks and valleys.
Don’t test until you start injecting the hcg as this will produce some T and E2.
You can buy insulin syringes in almost every state without an rx.
