New Moon is Everywhere

Sarcasm aside…my whole point is i’ve seen what you guys are complaining about from being inside the industry…really big guys in film/TV THAT HAVE PROMINENT LEAD ROLES is not going to become a trend anytime soon. Part of that is perception and society but it is the way it is.

Being an Actor and someone who wants a bigger phsique is very challlenging. Im a struggling Actor myself…went to school been to L.A. and everything (B.A. in college not a fly by night acting school)The industry frowns upon guys who have big physiques…its like this fine line between atheletic and too big for a main part. You might be a “goon” or “that guy who gets beat up” but a main acting role is very rare for someone who is bigger than 150lbs…(considering height to weight ratios) Part of the reason is that the camera REALLY does add weight to someones frame. A good 15lbs!

IF your watching yourself on professional camera you yourself would be surprised. You know what the kicker is??? Im not even bigger than MOST of you!!! Unless your someone who is coming from WWE…(John Cena) or special cases like terry crews or Vin…this shit is very hard. Dammit the industry is haard enough…add an athletic build to that and you better be really hooked up and know some peeps.

Become a stuntman.

And buy a black Chevy Nova.

And stalk/murder groups of young attractive women.

With said black Chevy Nova.[/quote]

Then get shot in the arm by your hardcore mixed-race girlfriends and cry like a bitch.

Well what I have noticed is that it isn’t acceptable to be buff in Hollywood unless you are black, which has always seemed extremely racist to me.

Or, if you are white, you need to represent yourself as skinny for a really long time, then get buff quickly for a role, then America will allow you to keep those muscles without criticism (unless you get arms above 16 inches, then you’re on steroids and your career will die).

Good luck buddy!

LMAO Thanx

The kid shares my two favorite hobbies lifting/fitness and martial arts/combat sports, so he is o.k. with me. He worked hard and put on 30 pounds of muscle. Although I wonder what kind of “fitness” magazines you were looking at because last time I checked he was not in anything but celeb mags.

The reason you will not see big actors in major roles is because in most movies they are potraying normal people. If you go to a movie and the person playing the lawyer in the movie is Ronnie Coleman the whole thing will seem awkward because your average lwayer looks nothing like that. If the movie is an film in which the lead character is suppossed to be a buff hero then you will see bigger guys such as Hugh Jackman in Wolverine, Schwarzanagger in the Terminator, and so on.

Summit ent payed me $3,000 just to hang the new moon posters in the club and one near the entrance for one weekend. I don’t have a problem with it.

good job twilight dude.

And every girl in America is going to flick their bean to him for the next fiscal year.
