I agree they left out the scene where Tom Riddle becomes Voldemort and made it all teen lovey dovey, which wasn’t even a big part of the book. I think they wanted it as a buildup movie, not sure why but it felt like one.
Do we know what the MPAA rating for the new film is? I felt that they were really limited by making the sixth movie PG…I think the sixth book was way scarier than the film (although they did push the limits of PG with some bits, but a rendition true to the book would have been more intense):
