Yep, I agree now in hindsight. Bad on me for trusting my doctor…
You are not on a PCT if you are still injected testosterone. Your “PCT” is doing nothing right now.
You could just run your normal PCT and give it some time for your body/mind to catch up to the serum numbers
It does not
You really have some bad luck when it comes to choosing doctors. Now that you know that both doctors are using you as a guinea pig, maybe it’s time you start doing some thorough research of your own.
Nevermind taking Clomid alongside testosterone for whatever reason. What I would like to know is why this new doctor put you on 300mg/wk mini-blast? To hasten the rise of your E2? Going by that logic, why didn’t he just shoot 2 grams in your glute and you’d have normal levels the same evening…?
Also, your E2 is fine now. Why are you still on 300mg/wk?
These people sound determined to make you miserable.
The doctor actually put me on 400mg test-c/wk along with the clomid and HCG…and anastrozole (which I’m not taking), and offered me deca. Didn’t take the deca either. I decided to back down the test to 300mg/wk because 400 seemed like too much. Not sure what he’s thinking. Based on what you and @beez have told me, I’m going to back down the test to a more modest 200mg/week. My E2 is fine as of last week, but my libido is still gone. Does it take some time for the body to recover after E2 levels are back up? Could the clomid/hcg be making things worse?
Way too much, thats a mini Blast, not TRT at all.
Yes
Quite possibly.
You need to find a good TRT doctor who knows what they are doing. Also constantly changing doses every couple of days/weeks could also cause mood/libido issues.
You need to dial in your optimal dose that will keep you in the higher end of normal and keep it there for months.
At this point if I were you I would drop all the shit they gave you and just stick to a TRT dose of 150mg/wk. After a month or so I would draw bloods to see where I was at and adjust from there.
If you keep at it with 300mg/wk sooner or later your E2 will creep back up again and you’ll be back to where you left off. The same is likely to happen at 200mg.
Is this an actual doctor or an UGL reseller? Because that’s what he sounds like.
Gotcha. How much would you recommend @beez?
I want to learn! How do I start? Can you recommend some good sources for my research?
How long would you say?

Can you recommend one? I’ve heard Defy Medical thrown around on this forum and others as a credible TRT clinic.

Ok, gotcha. Might just do that. Thanks!

Supposedly an actual doctor. He has an “Anti-Aging and Wellness” clinic here and is well known throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area for taking an aggressive approach with his prescriptions. Apparently, all the bodybuilders here go to him because he will give them what they want. He’s got a huge following, but after he put me on clomid & HCG while on 400mg/wk TRT and offered me anastrozole and deca, I’m not so sure he’s competent.
Would be unwise of me to recommend anything other than for you to analyse exactly what it is you want from this and then do lots of research on how to get there with the least stress on your body?
I understand. What I want from this is to recover from the effects of the E2 crash and then maintain a healthy testosterone level for the long term without needing any AI. I am fairly new to this. Could you point me to a good source(s) for me to research? I appreciate your help.
How long would you say?
I don’t know. Best answer I’ve seen is “it depends”. From what I read, most say about a month to two months until they feel normal again with the worst symptoms passing after about two weeks.

I’m in Europe. Guys on this forum that are located in the US seem to prefer Defy so you could give them a call.

He’s a licensed drug dealer so is bound to have a huge following.
As for resources, my best advice would be to use the search function of this forum, mainly the ‘Pharma’ and ‘TRT’ subforums and weed through all of the information that is relevant to you. You will read a lot of bad advice and a lot of good advice. If you read and research long enough, you will learn to quickly distinguish between the two. You will also find a handful of very knowledgeable forum members that freely offer some very noteworthy insights into the world of TRT and AAS.
My best advice to you would be to find a doc or clinic with fair reviews, like Defy for instance and tell them your troubles.
If you are to self medicate your TRT like I am, you need to take the responsibility of reading up on all you can, find credible sources and regularly getting blood work done.
Finally whatever you decide, you need to stop constantly jumping from one dose to another and just stick to one dose for at least two months to see how you truly feel. That dose could be as low as 100mg/wk and can even put you at the lower end but it doesn’t matter; what’s important is that you get a consistent feel of true TRT and set a foundation for further adjustment.
Thank you @rusty_hammer! You are the man! I appreciate your wise advice and willingness to help!
