Increased DHT is related to hair loss. Increasing DHT (which is a derivitive of testosterone) causes an increase in Estrogen. Its all interconnected but hard to say exactly whats causing your hair loss

Itā€™s the other way around, DHT has anti-estrogenic effects.

Yes, more correctly stated:

  1. more testosterone causes more DHT
  2. DHT causes hair loss
  3. more testosterone also typically causes more estrogen
  4. so, elevated estrogen can be an indirect indicator of elevated DHT, which causes hair loss BUT DHT doesnt CAUSE higher estrogen since:
  5. DHT is actually anti-estrogenic

Again, its all interconnected. This is why it is so important to monitor levels
