NBA 2012 - 2013

You know I’m deciding to pull an odd move and I’m supporting the Bucks this year. I think they’re a wildcard team kind of like the Knicks a couple years ago. I can see them being the 7-8 seed in the East and possibly upsetting somebody in the first round. Still a Celtics fan at heart but I love basketball too much to live through the misery they are most likely gonna put me through this year.

Demarr Derozan with 25, 8-13 from the field, 8-10 from the stripe. Not a bad stat line hey raj?

wtf is wrong with the lakers. @#)@#(@#)@!#!+@)!$

btw clippers seem to have a very very very deep roster.

provided everyone remains healthy:

chris paul, billups, eric bledsoe
jamal crawford, grant hill, matt barnes
caron butler, lamar odom
blake griffin, deAndre jordan, turiaf

that’s pretty damn deep.

btw, daiman lillard (6th pick) pg for portland is ballin’!

@johnman

Yeah it was pretty good, but I’m not convinced he’ll be able to keep it up. Sometimes it’s really hard to tell what you’re getting since it’s a lot easier to score on shitty teams.

A few years back Mike James averaged 20 points a game for the Raptors and he is terrible.

^ Yeah I hear ya man. I think he’s got the potential though, who knows how it will play out though. I always like Mike James haha. He had that stroke from 3.

On friday vs LAL, that LAC 2nd-team looked better than other NBA squads, not just some. Also did Crawford’s handle got even better in this offseason?? Dude looked scary quick out there.

And as u mention, they’ll be getting Mr Big Shot back. Though I wouldn’t be surprised if his biggest contributions come from the bench/in practices with the young’ns lookin as good as they do already.

i think the bench contribution compared to lakers was like 48-14.

billups/bledsoe, crawford/hill, butler/odom is a better back court than most nba teams!

AND yea man! did you see crawford break gay’s ankles?? damnnnnn.

More games like this from Bryant (15, 7, 8 on 10 FGAs) and I really won’t mind scaring up cash for a homegame…

Jesus dude… even if you are a Magic Johnson fan first and foremost, you really could’ve scrounged up some $ to see Kobe play live once in 17 years.

Would LOOOOOOOVE to see a Lakers/Heat game this season. It would be like the NBA All Star Game but it would actually matter lol

Lakers finally got that W… 79-3 here we come baby!!!

Melo looks like he is on a Mission this year…hope it holds up.

Chilly, you’re killin’ me. The best player of this generation has been in your backyard for close to two decades and you haven’t even attempted to watch him play live? Craziness.

Also, despite the fact that the Lakers as a whole look out of sync, Bryant has looked damn good. 27 a game on 60% from the floor and 90+% from the stripe. As much as I’ve never liked Howard, don’t wish injury on anyone. Can’t tell if it’s just rust, but he’s not moving like his old self out there. Fortunately, he only needs to jump 10" of the ground to catch those backdoor lobs. I’ma give it a full month before I make a call (on any team/player), but right now the Lakers look like shit.

Heh I have actually seen him live when I used to live in the bay, back during a different economy. (I think it was called Network Associates Coliseum back then)

Really liking the Rasheed Wallace, Chris Copeland combination in NY.

OJ Mayo is a hooper! I have no idea why Memphis got rid of him/sign him. Not sure what his situation was.

Dude. We’ve been knowing about Mayo since his brief, NCAA-violating days at Southern Cal.

There’s a reason I’ve linked your Mayo + Eagles infatuations together…

Because he’s basically regressed every year at the pro-level.

Plus it’s not like there’s some shortage of talented, swing-type scorers out there…

edit - to be clear, I’d like to see him succeed. But there’s little reason to expect what would be an anomalous emergence now.

True, but obviously it’s paying off for the Mavs. Although, what will happen when Dirk returns…
