BULLS!!!
Ya know, most of the time when I see star players they’re up against other elite teams.
But really, to see how good players some players are, you have to see them go up against below average teams.
I just watched the Raptors play OKC, and watching Durant and Westbrook dominate so effortlessly really gives a much perspective as to how good these guys truly are.
I obviously already knew they were amazing players, but flaws really stick out in playoff basketball.

Yeah. Some teams are better than others, but the reason that even teams like the wizards are paid millions is because they are still the best of all the millions of kids who will play highschool and college basketball. For some guys to be so good at their craft that they can make other NBA starters look like amateurs is incredible.
Yeah Durant and Westbrook are amazing players but too bad they dress like a pair of rich metrosexuals with their fake glasses and rainbow wardrobes.
Hip hop fashion has taken this turn from Kool G Rap to A$AP Rocky “designer” fads. Makes you sick.

Reminds me of last year, people were talking that Kentucky could beat the Wizards/Bobcats cause they had some nba talent on the college team. They forgot that those crappy nba teams on had nba talent.

That seems to be every star basketball player nowadays. When you’re so big that all your clothes need to be custom tailored, there is no excuse for them always being too small.
Look at Wade, Lebron and Bosh.
Thank god D rose doesnt dress like this.

That reminded me of a Chris Webber in his prime move. It’s rare you see tall guys like that pull of such a sweet crossover.
Chris webber was Boss. but durant has so much more handle/skills/shot (offensive arsenal) than webber imo. although webber had better post moves and passing ability. and durant’s arms are long as @#$%!
btw, does anyone agree that OKC and Heat seem really really unstoppable this year. Especially OKC. Ibaka has gotten much better offensively and thabeet seems to be a very reliable backup centre (defensively and for rebounding)

Heat does not seem unstoppable to me this year. OKC does, and Clippers do. Im predicting OKC winds up with the best regular season record, and steam rolls the playoffs like last season. Not willing to bet yet that they will take a championship home this year though.
Ibaka has definitely impressed me this season, hes only going to keep getting better too. Ill be rooting for them since i cant count on the bulls for much. They’ll be lucky if they make it past the first round of the playoffs.
the clipper’s bench is stacked. is there any team which can even come close to what the clippers have in terms of backup? especially when billups returns
Spurs are stacked too although the Clippers bench looks much more glamorous. The playoffs will be interesting.
uhm, did okc just lose to wizards?

I agree. Durant is definitely quicker, longer and a better shooter. Webber was quick for a big man in his time when that was more rare. I remember his crossover surprised me back then.
Did you guys see the Knicks/Celtics game? That shit was intense. KG and Melo went at it in this fourth quarter. I’ve never seen anyone get so antagonized since Reggie Miller toyed with John Starks. Reports were Melo was waiting for his ass at the locker room lol. Classic.
I hate Kevin Garnett but it was hilarious the way he pushed Melo’s buttons last night.

James harden early MVP candidate ?

Candidate yes, winner no. Not saying Durant will win, but I don’t see how Harden would get it over him. I don’t think he would get it over Carmelo Anthony either especially if the Knicks end up with the best record in the East. Lebron would be ahead of him too. I think this years MVP is going to be way tougher to decide than last year based on what we’ve seen so far.
I just tuned into the Rockets/Lakers game. Looks like this is going to be a close one.

I’d certainly say hes up there as far as stats go, but there are more deserving players right now IMO.
I think a lot of his success is just a bit overblown due to the fact that when you put a really good player on an ok team and basically make him the franchise player, hes going to post better stats than he would, for instance, if he was still on OKC.
Houston’s kinda in the same boat right now as the Knicks, some real talent on those teams but too inconsistent to be a real threat in the post-season IMO.
