I advocated something similar years ago, only mine was once a month to really add value to the slap…but I agree with everything else
Next thing you know:
“Hey guys, I’ve been following Starting Slap for years now, but I want to take my game to the next level. What’s a good template to increase my slap strength? Thanks in advance.”

The slap thing would be great, but I’d have to be able to pull people over somehow to get the best use of it.
I don’t know if 5/3/1 has enough slapping volume, there’s only 3 working slaps right?

That’d be utter mayhem … there’d be traffic jams on the first of the month (or very day - presuming when the slap quota resets) from people just turning that siren on … I can’t imagine how terribly my commute to work would be, not to mention how many times I get pulled over and slapped…
I would fully anticipate a scenario where one individual gets slapped by a mob because said individual exercised their slap at an inopportune time.
I imagine it would take a little while to shake out all the bugs in the system.
I also realize that I’ve essentially created a PG version of “The Purge”

Given that we seemingly have had this idea independent of each other makes me think it should be added as a ballot initiative at the upcoming elections … maybe we should start a grassroots write in movement?

Be easy to generate support. Ring people’s doorbells around dinnertime and be like “Don’t you wish you could just slap me for interrupting your right? Well sign HERE and make it legal!”

I think it’s terrific we all want to beat this guy’s ass. The main question is did the cops get called and was he arrested?
His assault of that woman is an automatic disqualification of any opinion he may have held. Free speech is free, not quality. We’re not guaranteed quality of speech.
Well he has been arrested. Good, I hope he serves some real time. I think a year in a ‘pound-me-in-the-ass-prison’ would be fair…
I would’ve thought you’d be in favor of punishing him.

I seriously doubt that would be the result. Cops have guns and look how some people talk to them.
I imagine you live in an interesting country where cops are allowed to fire one shot at a human every day, but where I live cops are not authorized such actions. People, being aware of the limitations placed upon these authority figures, tend to have less concern of them utilizing guns.
However, where you live, it seems people are VERY brave to speak poorly to cops that are authorized to shoot a human at least once a day.
