"My Truth" and "Privilege"

What does this even mean?

It will always lack both because it is always motivated by hate and ignorance.

Performing sexual acts is a choice.

We will agree to disagree here. I think 95% of the time watch you say is true, but there some LGBTQ affirming denominations.

That’s not acting on homosexuality; it’s having sex. Being gay is more than the sex.

But regardless, the Bible says nothing about homosexuality being a sin, including sex between homosexuals.

You read a lot into my comment.

You mentioned people believing it’s a sin, and I stated the Bible does not say it is a sin.

No, it says it’s an abomination.

The Bible says nothing about homosexuality. Sex between men is not necessarily an act between homosexuals.

I’ve heard lots of people tell me so. No-ones been able to show me.

This is even more true of you look at the original texts in Hebrew and Greek. No proof exists in the Bible.

For a book that’s very prescriptive and detailed on the finer points of what you can eat or wear, it seems much more wishy-washy on so called “abominations”.

You should only feel ashamed if you use your advantage to belittle others. Or if you belittle others who are disadvantaged in general. This is a deep conversation with many twists. Basically the black have-nots have an issue with the haves and the color of skin is only part of the equation. Yes, a poor black person is going to hate a well off white person more than they hate a well off black person. But a well off black person will be hated all the same unless they are going out of their way to help the have-nots.

And don’t get caught up in certain groups movements. I can’t stand BLM. It doesn’t mean that I think life is great for blacks and racism doesn’t exist. I generally appreciate the job law enforcement does, but I understand that a lot of cops are assholes.

I’m going to say most of the time, the problem is bigger than you think, but not as big as the media is making it out to be.

But any homosexual sex is lying with a man as with a woman. Whether it’s prison ass rape or homosexuality. Leviticus 18:2b-3, 22; 20:13

To be clear, I don’t think there is anything wrong with homosexuality. At all. Love who you love. But the Bible is pretty clear.

That’s not homosexuality, just a sexual act. And homosexual men don’t have sex like heterosexuals. In other words, a homosexual man has sex with another homosexual man, as homosexual men, not as if they are having sex with a woman.

Obviously men don’t have vaginas, but it’s crystal clear, no matter what word games you want to play, that the Bible condones homosexual sex. And again, I have no issues with homosexuality at all.

I agree. The Bible doesn’t condemn homosexuality itself, just homosexual sex.

Is this the word you meant to use?
