My Estradiol is Very High But I Feel Ok. Advice?

Based on the T:E2 formula I use, for 1600 TT your E2 should be between 80 - 114. So 100 is perfect.

I just received some more blood test not sure if this is a good or bad thing my fasted insulin level is low,
<2.6
But my blood glucose is normal 86,

Don’t worry about the Total T. Many doctors such as dr. Keith Nichols consider anything under 2000 ng/dl to be safe long term. And frankly there’s no evidence showing higher levels to be “unsafe” but under 2000 is definitely in the safe zone as many people have been in that range for decades straight with no problems.

Great FT.

Healthy.

Yeah, no idea how long he was on 250mg, but he can just try 200mg for 8 weeks and see if he feels any different. If no difference then just stick to 200mg for TRT. If a noticeable difference then he should just stick to 250mg. It’s on the higher end but many feel best on higher doses that get them between 30-50 FT. Anything below 50 FT is not a problem anyway.

@j.lee how long have you been on 250mg/weekly? If over 12 weeks and still feel good then congratulations, this is a solid protocol. If you really want you can try 200mg for 12 weeks and reassess. Worst case you just switch back. Best case you save yourself some money, which adds up over a lifetime.

E2 is definetely not high for this total t and dosage, it is totally normal and it has many benefits so only watch for nipple sensitivity symptoms. But the total t and dosage is a bit on the high end. How do you feel and how is your CBP?

Iv been on this since January so nearly 6 months,
Maybe I’ll lower it slightly and re access,

What do you think about my fasted insulin being really low, is that dangerous?
Google says your diabetic type 1 of low insulin

Ok thanks for the positive words, I’m not sure about CBP,

I’m a bit worried about this low insulin reading now,
Researching says it could be type 1 diabetes,

Yep you should research your condition in relation to insulin, blood sugar and IR. Unlike the high estradiol people fear this one can be a real problem.

Yeah I have done a bit research but it’s not saying much as I have normal glucose, wich wouldn’t be the case if I had diabetes,

I have blood work from 12/19
And from 4/19
Both normal insulin level,
I’m wondering if it could be because I trained the day before the test,

It can, but my advice to make the glucose loading test and go to an experience endo. At least in this the experienced endos are competent. If you lived here in Bulgaria for example I could refer you to someone who is very competent in all blood sugar/insulin related disorders

Can you post blood sugar and insulin readings you have?

Usually if you had disorder there it is very unlikely you would have SHBG of 27 but you never know

Ok thanks for the advice,

Glucose 84 reference 70-110 8/5/20
Insulin <2.6 reference 2.6- 25 8/5/20

Glucose 85 12/12/19
Insulin 3.2. 12/12/19

Glucose 85 11/10/19
Insulin 4 11/1019

I see my fasting isnulin has been from 3 to 4.6 so I do not see anything so disturbing except on your last reading
Glucose also seems OK to me but Im not very aware of the optimal glucose and insulin values. What I know more important is their dynamics from food in the day

Make the loading test

Do you get sleepy after eating carbs?

No I don’t get sleepy after carbs,
One thing is for sure I can eat 4000 calories per day and not get fat, or even put weight on,
I would need to eat 4500 callories per day to gain weight, and I’m only 80kg,
Also I’m hungry a lot of time, lol
What’s the loading test? you mean the blood glucose test that checks your average over the past 2 months ?

No its where they give you glucose an draw blood three times for 3 hours

Ok I’ll speak to my doctor about this,

You can also take the c peptide blood test. And retake fasting insulin , glucose and a1c

Ok what will this tell me ?
Iv never heard of this tests

If you feel good, don’t change anything. A lot of folks spend years trying to feel good on TRT. If you are already there, then stay the course. Don’t fix what isn’t broken. The E2 number is irrelevant.

Also this is my summary for the topic. Man if you feel good do not look for problems. Just live your life

If he’s running those levels of testosterone FOR TRT though they make him feel good, he should do yearly cardiologist visits and do an echo ultrasound. Make sure heart muscle is fine.
