Not to detract from the OP’s thread, but could you not say that Stallone was “acting”? I know that may be a difficult concept to grasp but from what I remember, he was supposed to be heavy on his feet and lacking the “rhythm” of Apollo.
Nah.
Stallone ran the exact same way during the training scenes in ‘Victory’.

The Boiler Room is possibly one of my favorites. It is the only movie I can tolerate Ben Affleck in.
One of my favorites as well.
Interestingly, this is one of the very few movies where the alternate ending (as shown on the DVD) was much better than the actual one.

I can’t believe that I forgot about The Program. That was an awesome moive.
Professor X and all Vin Diesel fans.
If you like or dislike Vin Diesel, check out the short film he made that got him noticed by Steven Spielberg. It’s called “Multi-Facial”.
It’s pretty much based on his real life experiences of trying out for roles and not getting them because he’s too white for black roles, and too black for the white ones. It’s only 20 minutes long and really shows the wide range of roles he can do.
I am a bona fide Vin Diesel fan. Exactly because he is the best shitty actor I’ve ever seen. I mean that seriously. He has the unique ability to make a notable talent out of an utter lack of it in the usual sense.
Loved Pitch Black and The Chronicles OF Riddick. Finished the game too. I do have kids and even The Pacifier was a fun movie where he showed his versatility at being unable to act, but doing it anyway successfully. I can’t put my finger on it.
I don’t know how muscular it was overall, but Heartbreak Ridge was great T-flick.

Heartbreak Ridge with Eastwood and Mario Van Peebles. I can’t remember how big Mario was in that, but he was rather muscular in BAADASSSSS! AKA How to Get the Man’s Foot Outta Your Ass. He plays his father in the true story of his fathers struggles making the first blaxploitation movie “Sweet Sweetback’s Baadasssss Song.”

Van Peebles looked pretty good and the guy who played Swede Johansen was large. The interplay between Eastwood (Gunnery Sergeant Highway) and Van Peebles (Stitch Jones) was priceless in that movie. Both were great.
