Movies You Hate that Everybody Else Likes

Your more of a show tunes or musical kind of bird aren’t you?

Bridesmaids - besides the poop joke it was just a regular chick flick.

The Matrix…What garbage.

The Matrix (original) wasn’t in itself a horrible movie but it made a bunch of fucking idiots think they were scholars of philosophy.

Kate Beckinsale’s character in the new Total Recall falls right into that bracket (minus the zombies and vamps). She is so highly trained that I doubt even RV could take her in a wrestling match. That should give you an idea of how tough she is.

Spaceballs - agree with Nards here.

The Royal Tenenbaums

Literally anything that Steven Seagal stars in, although I get a lot of unintentional comedic value out of his films.

The Big Lebowski - don’t hate it but don’t see what the big fuss is about.

No Country for Old Men

O Brother, Where Art Thou? (biggest piece of shit I’ve ever paid to see in a theater)

Really.

Must be a Greek thing[/quote]
let me add:

Troy

but then again I have no idea how many people actually ‘like’ that movie. I remember it being pretty popular…

I watched 30 minutes of it because a girl I was dating liked it so much. Total pretentious attempt at comedy. I hate it.

On a side, I notice that when comedy fails for me I hate it more than I should. I mean if a drama fails to really tug at my heart and all that, I’ll still say it was pretty good. When an action movie is quite good but doesn’t give me the thrills and goosebumps of Raiders of the Lost Ark i still will say it was a success…but if a comedy doesn’t make me laugh and I think the jokes were bad, I don’t just let it go…I want it to burn in hell.

Any film by Christopher Guest (except Spinal Tap).
