Movie Badasses

How could I forget…if you like Statham, go see Crank, or just buy the bitch on DVD. Funny as Hell, and badass to boot.

Bastard could fight.
Didn’t he only fight his wife and some skinny guy? I didn’t see the second one, but I only remember him thinking he was badass, never actually proving it.

On the other hand, Sean Connery was a serious asskicker in The Rock.

My picks: Jet Li and Vin Diesel

Sam Elliot in all his roles, especially along side Mel Gibson in “We Were Soldiers”

How about Mickey O’neal the Pikey.
What a crazy movie.

Toshiro Mifune

Not sure who to add to this list, as its well covered already, but I will have to say that out of these movie badasses there something about Charles Bronson, Vinnie Jones, Danny Trejo, and Mickey Rourke that gives me the creeps and makes me believe that they’re probably real life badasses. The kind of guys you wouldn’t really want to f*ck with…

Hell, I know that Jones is supposed to be a hard ass and that Trejo was in prison when they ‘found’ him, but I’m not sure about the others.

I’m betting Ving Rhames can walk the walk as well as some of the others, but he (and the others) appears to be laid back.

How about Adam Baldwin’s Animal Mother from Full Metal Jacket? Total psycho asshole carrying a big gun.

Jake the Mus, spot on. OWW is one of my favourite movies of all time. The scene when he hammers the fool whose messing with the Jukebox in the bar is legendary.

I like Bruce Willis in Die Hard, espeacialy 1 and 3. And what about Rocky?

Adrian asks him why he wants to go into another fight where he’s probabley gonna get pulverised and he just says

“Im a fighter, its what I do”

Love Charlie Bronson, espeacialy in the Great Escape, a real man if ever there was one.

Marv is freaking awesome. Micky Rourke played the role perfectly.
Marv, Hartigan, and Clive Owen’s character were all badasses. That movie was fucking exceptional. It’s in my top ten.

Totally agree with Creasy from “Man On Fire.” And Russell Crowe in “Gladiator.”

Others on my list:
-Bulwyf in “13th Warrior”
-Vic Mackey in “The Shield”
-Achilles, Hector, and Ajax in “Troy”
-Clive Owen in “King Arthur”
-Russell Crowe as Bud White in “L.A. Confidential”
-Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday in “Tombstone”
-Chow Yun Fat in “The Killer” (or in any John Woo movie, really)
-Titus Pullo, Lucius Vorenus, Mark Antony, and Julius Ceasar in HBO’s “Rome”
-Seth Bullock in HBO’s “Deadwood”
-Robert DeNiro in “Ronin”
-Walsingham in “Elizabeth”
And, of course, BRAVEHEART
Seth Bullock? How about Al Swearengen? That limey cocksucker is as mean and smart as they come.

I’m surprised and shocked that no one has mentioned the “Bad Motherfucker” himself, Sam Jackson.

Temuera Morrison - He impressed Lucas so much, he decided he would be Jango Fett, the source for Boba Fett and all the stormtroopers. Yes, stormtroopers suck, but that because they rushed there cloning process.

Sorry to nerd up this post.

I know some peeps hate these kinds of movies, but I LOVE Martial Arts movies, I can watch them 24-7. I LOVE Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee, Jet Li!

Come on now people, Ogami Itto and Daigoro (Lone Wolf and Cub, sorry cant recall their actual names). Those cats were cold.

Sent it twice, my bad.

Bolo Yeung

I can’t believe I forgot the baddest military drill instructor in film history: R. Lee Ermey as Gunnery Sgt. Hartman in Full Metal Jacket.

“The outlaw josey wales”
Clint Eastwood rocked in that movie,

“you gonna pull them pisols or you boys just gonna stand there and whistle dixie”

“lets see what it does for stains, carpetbagger”(as he spits a huge wad on the guys white suit jacket)

Check out Big Jake on “Once Were Warriors”. He went on to play Jango Fett, but never mind.
