Easy for us to get pissed at the bystanders but unless you are there hard to say how you would really act. With that many people you are risking a serious beat down or death if you step in without a gun.
I’d probably just yell there is a cop around the corner or something. Calling the cops would be safe but they wouldn’t get there in time unless the guys had actual restraint to not kill the victim.
This video should be good enough reason for everyone to practice their sprint intervals.

So what makes this so much worse then just one guy shooting him? Obviously they wanted to kill him they just used a lot of people. Its like every time someone shoots someone or uses a weapon you would say ‘fucking cowards should have fought him one on one’ obviously this was a planned murder.
The most fucked up thing in this video is after the attackers are gone no one goes and at least attempts to see if he is breathing or something.

Watching that video made me gasp in disbelief and my heart feel hopeless.

Sadly though, if you look at the picture closely, this isn’t the same case as the original video. Truth be told, I still feel empty and terrified that I and don’t know how I would have acted if I’d been a wittness to this terrible beating.

1 or 2 people intervening (unless trained in one way or another) would probably just end up getting themselves killed too - it seem like there were a lot more around in this case.
I was out with a couple friends last year, and we were outside a pub and a friend was chatting up a couple girls. This guy was “with” them, and he’d just walked outside for a smoke. Next he starts being a smartass to my friend and when my friend responds, the guys says, “I’m here with 12 friends do you want to take this further?”.
I said to him, what’s wrong - can’t fight your own battles one on one? He ran inside (to get his friends) - we left because I wasn’t in the mood for shit. I can’t stand people like that.

What bothers me is that the kid didn’t even attempt to move, and the guys who got off the train didn’t even try to help.
