Did you know that HIV/AIDS was caused by Waffles. True story.

No way did Waffles cause HIV/AIDS. That’s an urban legend - check snopes.com. If anything, waffles cause happiness, contentment, and fat storage.

I SAID Waffles caused AIDS. They also caused the bubonic plague, cancer, and High School Musical 1-3.

Now I’m sure you made a mistake when you tried to correct me. But to smooth things out between you and me, I’ll buy you a triple stack of flapjacks at the next Test Fest in Maryland.
Why the Hate for each other? Cant we bridge the gap?

It would be fatal for the T-Nation to overlook the urgency of the moment. This sweltering summer of the Waffels legitimate discontent will not pass until there is an invigorating autumn of freedom and equality. 2008 is not an end, but a beginning?

?Let freedom ring. And when this happens, and when we allow freedom ring??when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God’s Morning Cakes and Pastries??Pancake men and Waffle men, Crapes and French Toast, Danish and Muffins??will be able to join hands and sing in the words? “Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!”

Dude, we’re both from North Carolina. Since when did we believe in equality.

WAFFLES ARE THE DEVIL’S WORK.

Oh, man. Jchenky left? She was a really sweet girl from some of the posts I saw.

I’m all for keeping some order. Definitely keep our girls feeling comfortable so they spread the word of the site, get more girls signed up and reading, learning. Always a good thing.

Same for the rookie body builders. Get them here, make them learn to love the criticisms, and teach them. Make them carriers of the right message.

Just to play devil’s advocate here, if I may -

There’s a fine line between trying to create an atmosphere people will want to be a part of without censoring too much.

One of the beautiful things about this place is, as of now, if you post stupid shit, you WILL (and SHOULD) get called out on it.

However, sometimes posters develop a sort of internet persona and group of friends due to the sheer amount of posts they make.

Then, later they’ll do something (post a picture of their fat ass, make a stupid recommendation, or do something else that doesn’t jive well with the general theme of the site) which they SHOULD get called out for, but when it does happen, the person making the criticism often gets flamed to hell and back by the army of friends.

That’s horseshit.

I don’t claim to have all the answers, and I’m not accusing you or anyone else of wanting excessive censorship. I agree some order should be kept, but I sure as hell don’t want to see this place get watered down in order to placate a bunch of posters who are “popular” on the site simply because of their post count.

Ok, enough hijacking.

RSG (RSGZ) is the most annoying asshat on this site, obviously.

Where in NC are you? I used to live on Roanoke Island.
Fayetteville. Where Ft.Bragg is located. Coastal region of NC.

You can go look up the posts if you like or you can take my word for it - he went way beyond the line. This isn’t even a close call.

Or to put it in another perspective, if the kind of venom he spewed on that particular type thread were permitted here day in and day out…I would leave.
Nah, I believe ya. I was speaking more in generalities, and I figured that this most recent deal was well beyond acceptable behavior, and in those cases appropriate action should be taken.

I agree with fightinirish Rainjack is a bit of an arrogant twat. As far as you pancake and waffle people are concerned your both wrong! the ultimate breakfast is the full english. ha ha I mock your carb based breakfast items!

I was gonna nominate you, but I thought I’d be the bigger man.

I’ll never be the bigger man :(.

not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Agreed. But then, we have quite a few here who don’t even workout at all so it must be like “Internet Voyeurism”. I am not sure what sedentary people get out of coming here.

It’s statements like this that are going to have to make me say that professor x is pretty annoying. Look, I respect the years you’ve put into weight lifting and all the knowledge you have obtained, but 75% of the posts I’ve read of yours are mini rants about how more than half of the members here aren’t fooling anyone with how serious they are about weight training/nutrition etc. I know that you have gotten sick of seeing the same patterns of questions over and over, but can we state the obvious a litte less?

Alot of people just want to feel a part of a community of the ‘ideal T-Man’ and the internet allows them the chance to do that without actually having to put in the work of lifting heavy things and trying to lift even heavier things.
This post was for real? Why would people who take this seriously and pour years into this want to be around people who don’t even have a goal more serious than “tie shoes without getting out of breath”? You don’t become one of the people who stand out by surrounding yourself with people who aren’t accomplishing much of anything.

I don’t care if I state this thousands of times over, it doesn’t erase the fact that people like that shouldn’t even be tolerated here. Why should I give a shit if some jackass wants to be a part of a “community” without any commitment at all? What organization do you know of that actually reaches a goal but does so by incorporating tons of people not really doing anything? Congress?

I hope my posts do annoy you. I hope they annoy the shit out of you and everyone else clogging up the forums with, “I don’t want to be big, I just want to tone…by the way, I have only been training for one week, why I am not seeing progress!!?”

There may be 15 people on this entire forum that would impress other serious trainers with their development.

This is a bodybuilding forum that incorporates other aspects of athleticism. With that in mind, why are there so few who stand out?

Trying to get people to push for more is only annoying to losers.

Quoted for absolute truth.

What is the fascination with goalless, non-training individuals coming to this site? They are unwelcome.
mthomps wrote:

And his responses are spot on in re to the majority, who are lazy, uncommitted and generally a waste of space. X has posted some of the most valueable training advice on this site, it is appreciate by the few the rest need to cling to their ‘community’.
