There are many causes for inflation in this iteration. Zimbabwe is an example given for the printing of money causes inflation crowd. MMT says it usually falls on the lack of production. Food production fell drastically first in Zimbabwe before the printing of money occurred. This lack of production is what lead to inflation. The printing of money came after the lack of food production that lead to hyperinflation not the printing of money.

I have had plenty of different jobs. So no I wouldn’t starve. I chose to do something that would allow me to live while avoiding the arbitrary power of capitalism.
