We’ve been down this road before. You can’t just magically ramp up production of real goods to make up for the printing increase. Crap in one hand and wish in the other and see which fills up first.
No, the theory is that the government has no consequences from debt…may be true, may not be. The country off the gold standard is yet young.

We were specifically talking about homelessness. The poster asked why other countries who are enacting social programs(non-specific) had greater rates of homelessness. I asked do these non-specific social programs cause homelessness? Does single-payer help to cause homelessness? What social programs do? If so, please explain and/or give some evidence.

The U.K. is doing much better in healthcare, not sure about homelessness or other issues. And get this they have a healthcare system that is socialized. Not just a single-payer system.
Than move to the UK (yes i know you “have a right to be here” - that’s irrelevant). Oh wait - you can’t get a work visa because you have no real skills…

How do you know they are doing better? Have you experienced this system or understand any of the actual workings of it? Or is it based off simply what biased news sources you read?
Their system is in shambles.

This seems to be a difficult concept for him to grasp.
I could just become a citizen. Trading can be done anywhere with a laptop and internet connection.
And hasn’t production increased drastically in the last few decades? Are we at our productive capacity? It is a shame that the workers did not share in the productive increase. That money went to the top. Viva la’ capitalism!

Did you not blame social programs for the ills of homelessness. Implying that since they had these social programs they were worse off. And then claimed a see, see I told you so. Some countries that have a greater homeless rate than the U.S. also had more social programs(non-specific) And couldn’t identify a housing social program for their homeless issue. Just said they have higher rates of homelessness and more social programs.
