As I’ve said every time before MMT is mostly used for evil. Wars and bailouts. One area I can think of off the cuff where it is used for good purposes is a natural disaster. But I’m sure you thought it was paid for by tax increases or the selling of bonds. A mark of the dysfunctional economic system that you espouse. A system that is backwards. Why is MMT used when it’s time for the imperialistic U.S. to spread some democracy?
I was born in this country so I have the right to try and change it for the better.

If that method is provided by the evils of capitalism, then yes you are mooching off of it. Considering you hate capitalism. Trading currencies is definitely mooching as you provide NOTHING of value to society.

I live in a country that is governed by capitalism and unless I want to die, I need to make a living. What else should I do under this system? What do others do when governed by this system?
Something that provides an actual service to their fellow man or start your own business that provides jobs and all of the things you espouse about.
You took the easiest living possible that contributes nothing to anyone else, yet you are here railing at capitalism and people who actually have jobs that help society and business owners that provide jobs and benefits to people.
You are a fraud and a hypocritical piece of shit railing at others for being greedy capitalists while taking advantage of the system while providing no service to anyone but yourself.

A whole lot of shorting the currency markets in the 90s directly led to the Asian Financial Crisis in S.E Asia which led to the riots in Indonesia where Chinese people by ethnicity, not nationality, were driven out of the country and plunged developing nations like Malaysia into holes they still have not crawled out of.
In just 1995, Bahasia, which is the language spoken by Indonesians and Malaysians, were offered as electives in tertiary institutions around the ASEAN regions due to them being 2 out of a few “rising stars” in the ASEAN region and rapid development at the scale of China was projected.
Today, they are still at 3rd World status.
I mean, look, no one is saying you can’t make a living from currency markets. But you have to realize that this is the one thing that is USELESS in that there is literally no value you are providing to anyone.
Even the marketing professions serve to acquire consumer data and products are developed according to their wants. Knowing consumer wants reduces risks for product development and affects pricing. The availability of such data and the reduced risks and costs allow more competitors to enter the market. More competition results in lower prices and more utility for the end user, which is the consumer. Utility is maximized because a single product like a cellphone, which is a fucking computer that’s more powerful than any PC just 15 years ago, has most of the components an end user would want for a gadget, which in the past you would have to buy separately like a camera with good enough specs to take professional photos, a phone to for phone calls, a thing you use to play games which I do not know the term of, a physical organizer book thing, a music player etc. You have them all in a phone which costs 200 bucks. Fucking poor migrant workers doing manual labor have them. An Iphone can be used to make an actual MOVIE. Steven Soderberg made a pretty good one several years ago.
Seriously, give me ONE thing currency trading does to make ANYONE’s lives better other than the ones trading.
