Because they’re politically removed from the story (largely - i.e. you’ll get a different perpective from BBC than you would from Al Jazeera when they both are covering something in the US, say Biden’s shitty classified document handleing policy, for instance)… same way in “corporate media” in the US a story covering a foreign event will have different perspective than the local press there (take Brazil’s elections and protests - read a Brazilian paper and you’ll get a more partisan write up than you would from, say, Washington Times, WSJ or NYT). …
BTW I tend to agree with you on the “corporate media” thing … it’s pretty fuckin clear they are not part of a free and independent press corps

They do. Everyone knows what healthy food is in general and what to eat.
People binge eat or stress eat for a large number of reasons they should talk through with a therapist. It definitely is a weakness to rely on on junk food for stress relief or be addicted to sugar. The good news is is that it is relatively easy to overcome.
If you fall for advertising that is clearly selling junk you are either a) weak minded and ignorant or b) an idiot.

Of course you won’t watch the videos with intent because you’ve already made up your mind and whatever the mainstream asks you will obey all points. And before you cry again about Austrian economics being on the margins, watch the video of the debate between the father of MMT(Warren Mosler).and Austrian economics professor(Murphy). They defend their economic school of thought. And in a debate there is someone of an opposing view pushing back. It isn’t one sided, like a lecture. Although those can be informative as well.

This has to do with control. Allies. Ownership. In the U.S. about 90% of the media is controlled by 5 corporations. About 50 years ago 90% of the media was controlled by 50 companies. But through the capitalist magic of mergers and acquisitions there are far less POV’s. The viewpoints are consolidated and you only hear what they want you to. This is not foreign to the U.S. only. It’s just that it is not as prevalent.
