Except this isn’t MMT as described because it states direct receipt of taxes has an effect on the treasury. If they can issue currency with no consequences and the only reason federal taxes matter is to avoid jail time, the fiscal policy proposed in this article is inherently false.
You can’t shoehorn everything into your narrative because you want it to agree.

Now this article is obviously biased in favor of ranchers but it points out how easily maniputable the food compass study data is. This makes it easier for “fat-fluencers” (for lack of a better term for the FA and HAES nut jobs) to screw with the statistics and trick weak minded, hurting people into believing lucky charms is actually better than steak.
