Modern Monetary Theory: A Primer

What are the reasons the Pentagon sees China as the #1 threat? Militarily or economically? I personally know I lose a lot of sleep worrying about when China is going to attack us.

And this is better than helping the less fortunate?

Again, a reply from a loser in life that blames everyone else for his failures.

Maybe you should try another way of thinking considering the current one hasn’t worked out too well for you.

You can’t help anyone, so let’s not start telling lies.

You can’t even help yourself.

The point is that, in a forum intended for like minded people on weight training, you don’t have have similar passion as we. Essentially you are a party crasher.

How?

And their opinions on politics in this particular forum.

Party crasher. Or are you our resident pencil neck?

You ever think about why they don’t attack? They have a modern massive military and have publicly stated they want to expand the Chinese empire.

Possibly because the US armed forces is the strongest in the world?

Military spending China $293B

The U.S. over $800B

Is this what you believe?

I really would use that comment with a condition. How many fronts can we effectively confront?
(Assuming no doomsday scenario.)

I would say all of them in that scenario.

I think that would be the one thing that unified us again regardless of political lines - if our mainland was attacked in force. Either we win, or everyone loses.

And whose military might is stronger except for maybe China’s?

Who do you believe could take on US military and defeat them? I used to think maybe Russia, but they can’t even steamroll Ukraine.

Thus proving my point.

Also, I would highly question any number coming out of China.

Yeah, I left off nuclear annihilation since that would screw everyone.

I was thinking of a multi front attack that didn’t involve the US mainland.

China invades Taiwan
North Korea invades South Korea
Russia invades Poland
Iran invades Saudi Arabia
All occurring at the same time.

In this case we would be much less likely to use nuclear weapons.

Let them fight it out and then sweep in when each is weakened and choose the winner :joy:

Since we spend so much money on the military, why do you think the Pentagon believes China is a threat?

nah we’ve known for a while … it was calling everyone a rube, in lieu of derelict, that gave it away
