You’re definitely losing me here. peer review is ESSENTIAL to scientific progress. Peer review is also based on integrity of data/facts presented. One doesn’t have to agree with the conclusions or opinions of an author to properly review their work. If you don’t believe in the concept of peer review, and consider that to be some sort of elitist form of rejecting ‘inconvenient or unpopular truths’ or something along those lines, then we really don’t have any common ground to work from.
