This year is going to be exciting I can just tell!

Whatever helps you sleep at night…
Let’s go Joey Bats!
Gonzales is crushing the ball right now
They should’ve had John Lackey throwing everyone’s total would double.

He’s looking good. I would have a hard time watching this if I were a Padres fan.
Mother of God Cano…
Well I’m glad I didn’t make that stupid bet.
Ortiz is watching his replacement bat right now, lol
Man, I think Adrian Gonzalez has one of the best swings I’ve seen in a long time. He has that sort of swing that looks really slow when he’s locked in but his hands just come through really quick. He reminds me of guys like Griffey, Jr., Will Clark and Rafael Palmeiro. I always thought Manny Ramirez had that sort of swing from the right side. For some reason Ellis Burks stands out as another guy in my mind who had that smooth, relaxed swing from the right side that just looked natural driving the ball to all fields because of the hand speed.
oh my god number Cano’s #11 in the final round. projected 487
I would have not bet that Cano would even hit top 5 longest of the night. I think he had 3 or 4 of the five longest. Damn.
I enjoyed the team dynamic. They all seemed more into it. Best derby since Hamiltons 20+ round

His dad has been tossing him BP for 20 years, he should be spanking the shit out of the ball, lol.
Guy is just hitting his prime, he has 5-7 of his best years ahead of him…

Thanks chief. I watch him every day you mook. Im not adding you on google+ btw
that was a good HR Derby… Cano was killing it. I was glad that the finals came down to two guys who hadnt won it before.

Yeah. Lots of different types of swings and homeruns. Fielder was hitting fucking moonshots! The only time I can remember someone hitting them that HIGH and that far was when Vladimir Guerrero hit a couple at Derby in SF a few years ago that landed on the walkway in front of the big glove in left center, an estimated 501ft.
Gonzalez just has a pretty swing to watch, period. The distance he gets on his are almost a sideshow to the swing itself, for me anyways.
And Robinson Cano fucking shocked me! I knew the guy could hit bombs but it seems like the guys who do best in these things are the bigger guys because if even if they don’t get quite into the groove, they can mash line drives out like Holliday did a couple times. But Cano just got into a serious groove and put perfectly-balanced swings on everything it seemed. Fucking awesome.

haha, doucher…
He has a great swing. I’m really beyond impressed with the hurt he was putting on the ball. really blows my mind he is only 28…
I think A-Gon and Cano have the best swings in baseball. It’s not surprising that they both made it to the final. All the righties pretty much choked. I expected more out of Kemp and Bautista.
Now bring on the All-Star game. The NL is going to keep the streak alive! You know out of all the pitchers on the NL roster, they only come from seven different teams.
Anybody know who that guy around Cano all night was? Best picture I could find of the guy…doesn’t look like a player/former player, not that I recognize, but he seemed waaaay too friendly and familiar to be just some guy. I feel like I saw him opening water bottles with his teeth for Cano? And I know I saw him come up behind him and put his hand on his waist…it was strange. Maybe I missed a story or something

Isn’t that Russell Martin?
