“I hate ball suckers”
haha. lies.

I think so actually. They said singer was from Beach Blanket Babylon right? That show has trannies in it.

Fuck.

See, there they were at the top of that Sisyphean hill DB talked about. Of course Giants, of course. No way they could just push that boulder over the top.

My dad went up and bought tickets off a scalper after the game started. Six decades of Giants fandom and OF COURSE they will put a cherry on it by not letting him be there when they win the division.

ahhh… I feel bad.

I’m going to put on my (San Jose) Giants visor and go for a run.

Sorry, man. I’ve come to realize the Phils aren’t the team I thought they were. On paper they look great because we all know what they are CAPABLE of. But up and down the lineup, they all had bad years (except Chooch) at the plate.

Even when they are hitting, they’re either scoring a ton of runs or putting up a 0. We got hot too early and, most likely, will have to wait until next year.
Real Philly Phans have Phaith.

It’s going to be a yanks/phils rematch. prove me wrong.

That 3rd inning was fucking pathetic baseball. On the umpire too.

Yes. And Huff NEVER makes errors like that. It was hideous.
I’m pretty sure that’s when my dad got to the ball park too.
Guess I’m going to have to man up and blame the entire fiasco on him.
His game privileges are hereby revoked.

I read somewhere that the ump explained the bunt and it technically should have been fair. Also, Halladay apparently injured his groin in the second inning. What a beast to pitch through that.

Just dropped a G on Game 1 tickets if the Giants make. COME ON.

He threw like 30 pitches. Starting pitchers dont only throw on the days theyre supposed to pitch. He’s pitching game 6
I believe he threw those pitches in addition to pitching his normal side session earlier.

Should be interesting.

I’m way more excited for Rangers-Giants than Phillies-Yankees.

Haha I’m just tired of watching and hearing about the same teams.

Also, everyone complains about the lack of parity in MLB and how it needs a salary cap…are those same people going to complain about not having a yanks-phils series? I’m not calling Texas or SF small market, but they definitely have smaller (nationwide) fanbases and as such are talked about less. As someone whose team was knocked out in June, I’d kill to watch Lincecum-Lee game 7.

I know the Phillies’ pitching is pretty equivalent to SF’s, but watching Pablo Sandoval fielding routine grounders is far more entertaining than watching Ryan Howard strike out again.

Panda is ridiculous. He was THE MAN early in the season… that undisciplined mother fucker is actually GAINING WEIGHT and GETTING WORSE at fielding as the season has progressed. Its a joke. And his hitting has fallen off despite RBI’s two games ago.

I do think though that essentially these two teams are quite evenly matched 3-3 regular season 3-2 post season. Its an exciting match up.

Not really, I’ll be able to sell my pair of Phillies game 6 tickets for $1.5 - 2 thousand, highest level in the stadium (should they make it to game 6 of the WS). Face value is $150/each.

Just as a joke I posted them on craigslist last night, offering to sell them RIGHT NOW at face value but no refunds if they don’t make it and I got a couple emails asking to buy, haha.

Edit - btw, should the Phillies make it to game 6 of the WS, there is no way in hell I’d sell my tickets. Maybe for $10k.

Pandas eating himself out of a big payday in a few years. Seems like years ago that he hit .330 and 25hrs instead of just last year.

Partial season ticket holder. I have a Sunday game plan - 14 games total.
