Check out my view at PNC park yesterday.

Tickets were $51 each before StubHub fees… I’m only a few rows from the visitors dugout.

Amazing park.

By the way that’s Ryan Braun at the plate.

Solid. How was the food? How pricey was the beer?

Good food, beer I couldn’t tell you (I don’t like beer and drink irregularly).

Not sure if you’re familiar with this, but this is the sandwich Pittsburgh is known for the - The Primanti Brothers Sandwich.

Grilled meat of some sort, lettuce, tomato, coleslaw and fries all in the sandwich.

Many decades ago steel workers in Pittsburgh needed something they could eat with one hand and standing up. So the Primanti Brothers started putting the sides ( coleslaw and fries) in the sandwich and it eventually became a hit. At least that’s how the story goes.

One of the Jays prospects has been suspended 50 games for taking 1,3 DM. Also known as the active ingredient in Jack3d… ha!

Jose Bautista just had season had ending surgery.

What a great year

Bummer for Bautista, he was well on his way to another great season before the first trip to the DL.

And what is up with these A’s? Seems like a bunch of no-names jacking homers every day and shutting teams down. They are definitely for real. I think the Angels are out of it, and probably played Trout out of the MVP award.

They are only five games out of the wildcard race, how is that out of it? After the dramatics at the end of last season, any team within at least 10 games has some sort of chance.

Your right, they certainly have a chance. I just think it’s unlikely because they have a few teams they need to jump over, including two hot teams in the A’s and Orioles. But your right, anything can happen in this last month.

By my count, there are fifteen teams in contention for a playoff spot right now, which is pretty amazing considering everything was “supposedly” all wrapped up by this time last year. It’s going to be an exciting September.

It’s great because I can look at all the contending team and I really have no idea which team has the best chance to make it to the World Series. Last year everyone was on the Rangers and Phillies. The Phils are gone, but the Rangers who will make the playoffs just seem not strong enough in the starting pitching category to take it.

Check out how the jays game ended. Love the technique by Mathis

Nice throw.

What you can’t see in that angle is Mathis actually went extremely low and moved into the runner.

This caused the runner to face plant HARD.

Check out his face

He fucked him up pretty badly

pretty sure I remember seeing that lovely thing on Manvs Food

asked about the brews since they’re somehow getting away with charging $14 per out here, and that’s for domestic no less…

That’s steep. They’re $11 here.

Was also at Camden Yards last week. Got a ticket 5 rows behind homeplate off a scalper for $30. Ridiculous.

Really nice park but the city is an absolute shit hole

Had a Boog Sandwich while at the park.

Basically a carved meat sandwich with a choice of pork, beef or turkey. Got a double meat order going half turkey half pork. Was delicious. COuldn’t pickup the sandwich though it was a mess.

There’s an awesome condiments bar - multiple types of BBQ sauce, grilled onions, raw onions, spicy mustard and horseradish.

I loaded up.

Oh and the Boog sandwich is named after and made by former Oriole great Boog Powell

Coming into the season, did anyone here expect the Nationals to be as good as they have been?

I just can’t comprehend a team from Washington being first in any professional sports league.

How about them Reds, though!!! Cool photos therajraj! That was an amazing deal for the ticket behind the plate.
