I’ve got a small but important question here: does having lactose intolerance decrease the absorption rate of the milk you are drinking?
It can because of indigestion and diarrhea. I would doubt it is that significant unless your symptoms are outrageously bad. Again, that is what lactose free milk and Lactaid is for.

You eat raw meat?
all the time. if it’s good meat from a good source -and i have a couple- then steak tartar is just about my favorite thing to eat. and if it’s reeeally good meat i prolly just eat it w/ a little salt. if i could get raw milk around here i’d prolly drink that. i get raw milk cheeses though. mmmm.
Ok I have two responses depending on your intentions.
Response 1. This is if you were just making the comment and not bragging or anything. If you don’t think you are hardcore or uber smart because you pound down the raw meat then this is for you.
Dude do whatever makes you happy. That’s cool with me
Response 2. If you think you are hardcore yadda yadda, fresh is healthy, processing is the devil.
You are a dickhead, you aren’t hardcore, go hump a moose.

raw salmon, albacore, yellowtail and snapper are pretty bomb too. some soy sauce and pickled ginger on the side and you’re all set. i would never try this at home though.

mmm. i love yellowtail and mackerel too. salmon makes killer tartar. especially king salmon -wicked oily !
I just want to clarify what I said in an earlier post.
Lactobacillus acidophilus is good for the intestines but it will not improve lactose tolerance. Drinking acidophilus milk is usually okay for lactose maldigestion/intolerance because the bacteria convert the lactose to lactic acid before the food is eaten. It won’t make the condition better though.
Other lactobacillus cultures, on the other hand, have been shown to help
with digestion of lactose. You can find those mostly in yogurt.
I worked in a organic farm when I was 16. They took good care of the cows;they where free, grass fed,no growth hormones,no piss/blood in the milk, all natural diet. The CLA in organic milk is very high too, since they’re grass fed. I only drink organic milk.I’ve been in farms that did not raise organic cows and,let me say,it was kinda gross.
I add organic skim milk to my shakes and it tastes a whole lot better;I’ve actually become a little more lean also.Animals are here for human consumption.Period.If we couldn’t eat chicken then there wouldn’t be any chickens.Look at us humans. We’re animals! We’re made to eat meat!!! Lol.
