Correct. Each serving is now about 20 cents more.
Metabolic Drive costs us more to produce than another other supplement we make, and it has the lowest profit margin. Expensive to make, low payoff, even with the price increase. But it’s the only protein powder we’ll use ourselves, so we’ll keep making it using the same quality ingredients and flavors.
Now, we could replace the expensive proteins with substandard proteins and use generic off-the-shelf flavors (as every other supplement company has done to keep up with rising ingredient and production costs) but then we wouldn’t want to use it.
Tim Patterson told me recently that we make it for ourselves, but everyone else is allowed to buy it. He was only half-joking, I think.

No joke: Metabolic Drive got me to break my 20 year boycott on vanilla protein because I was so emotionally scared from my experiences in 2003 drinking that stuff. It tasted like wallpaper paste. Somehow, the folks are BioTest make it taste amazing.

Chocolate is available on Amazon now, but it seems you now cannot add MD (neither flavor) to a subscription for discounted pricing :(.

Is it better to subscribe on Amazon than order direct from Biotest? No taxes direct from Biotest and free shipping. Although, you have to order 4 to get the 15% off. I did save $20 on biotest compared to Amazon because of no taxes.
