I dislike that insinuation too, and I hope that my words were not taken to mean that way. I do find it difficult for many to attempt a good faith attempt in understanding opposing views though. That was probably one of the hardest things for me as I started reading more philosophy.
But at least, by understanding the other side, you understand that they don’t view the issue as a man being in the public space as a woman. You are both in agreement there, and at that point it boils down to a discussion on gender identity/expression and treatment of trans people.

i feel like you missed the part where she has repeatedly ignored him. or the part where he told her that he just wants to be friends, and then told us that’s not his real intention. continuing to try to talk to her is clearly not the right thing to do at this point.
Yeah, I wasn’t really keeping track anymore and got caught up in the other discussions. If she is already ignoring him, not answering calls, not calling him then it’s time to give up. This has already been going on for weeks anyway, unless she went to see him and everything is cool then there is no point in continuing.
Reading through this thread that I thought was dead (for like the 30th time), and saw this. Have you rewatched animaniacs since they put it on Netflix? It’s not just funny, it’s brilliant. The sheer amount of political references that went over my head is staggering. The writing, the music, the animation - fucking perfection.

Agreeing to just be friends, if you could handle it, and
Ignoring you once again when she realized you were lying.
