How many of them end up with their kids in a divorce? How many of them are left with $20 in their pocket after alimony and child support come out of their paycheck? How many of them are falsly accused of “rape” because they were BOTH drunk at a party, but she had remorse the day after (nevermind she was dancing on the table in front of him)?

That’s not bitching and complaining about “NOTHING”. It’s also something that we can’t just “opt out” of if you are already married and your wife makes it clear that she WILL NOT get a job or fuck you, and that if you have a problem with that, she’ll take you to the cleaners and ruin you. Those are REAL consequences that men face that are completely UNJUST.

While many men choose to “opt out”, there are also many men who WANT a family. There are many men who WANT risk it all, fall in love and get married. But if SHE CHEATS, why should HE have to PAY?!

You know what AC, you make some good points here. I’ve known guys who have been financially devistated as a result of their wives’ deciding to cheat/leave. That has always struck me as deeply unjust. Sober reconsideration of the laws around divorce/custody may well be very much in order.

That said, the small amount of material that I read in the link in the OP just struck me as way to shrill to seem like a credible appeal for social/legal reform. Also, IMO, any philosophy that can be summed up in the word “NO” (from the about page) leaves a little to be desired.
