did you know that in france and germany it’s actually ILLEGAL for a man who have the paternity of his child teste? it’s illegal…unless the mother gives consent. if he does it in secret, he faces a 15,000 Euro fine, and a year incarceration.

picture this, you are a white man, married to a white woman in france, and your child comes out half Asian. you would think this is unusual…so you want the paternity tested, but your wife (of course) refuses to give consent. so you attempt to perform in secretly. You are caught, fined, and put in jail…all the while being forced to pay child support for the kid who is obviously not yours.

That is not quite true, a secret paternity test in Germany is a misdeamor, which carries a penalty of up to 5000 EUR, which in reality is rather unlikely to happen.

They have some laws surrounding this, requiring the consent of the mother, well, send it to Austria, we have none.

Then, you can always go to court and claim that you are pretty sure that you are not the father, I do not know about France.

Its true that what the child looks like usually is not a reason good enough to claim that you are not the father, but if its half Asian and neither of you are even a bit Asian…

While I don’t disagree with the other stuff you wrote I think a lot MGTOW types are men who simply would have to date low in the current dating market and would rather drop out. In modern society , dating low means really low - being with a woman who outweighs you by a good 40lbs and has a terrible attitude to boot.

It’s good and fine to abjure marriage and kids, but I bet a lot of MGTOWs are men who don’t want to put in the time and effort to get a quality girlfriend. For especially low quality men this is a LOT of effort.

I’ll add this for background because maybe some people are unfamiliar with the divorce process: If you get to the point where judge is splitting your assets, it’s only because you, your spouse, and your lawyers have been entirely incapable and/or unwilling to work out something on your own.

The only time you HAVE to go in front of a judge is on the last day when the judge signs off on the whole thing. Everything else can (and should) be done between the spouses and their lawyers.

The judge has an interest in making sure the State doesn’t have to support an indigent spouse so it’s not entirely unreasonable that they (through splitting up assets and alimony) make sure the non-working spouse has the means to support themselves for some amount of time.
