McDonald Worker Arrested

I accidentally hit return and didn’t finish my answer. I havent been in jail before push. The fact of the matter is that the police arrest people for violating the law. If this had happened to somebody not in law enforcement then im sure the cook wouldn’t have been arrested.

It just so happens that when somebody does something intentional to a fellow officer we tend to get a little more personally involved. We are like a family. If someone did something to your family you’d want justice. We’ll police have the ability to get a little bit of justice on the spot. Its not an abuse of power to arrest somebody.

If you wore the badge you would understand. Her bail was $1000 so she had to come up with 100 bucks to get out. This arrest shouldn’t have even made the national headlines. This discussion will never end as it is your opinion that the arrest is absurd. The law was made and passed by legislators for a reason.

Bottom line the salt made the guy sick and go to the hospital. I don’t know why he took more than one bite. Only he can answer that. Sure it sounds funny. I’ll give you that. Gambling and prostitution offenses aren’t serious to me.

They’re victim less crimes in my eyes and I wouldn’t arrest someone for it unless ordered too but they’re are people who think they are serious offenses and would run me up the flagpole for not taking action. I respect your opinion and can see why you think the way you do. I just dont agree with it in this case.

Push. It appears to me that you’re line of thinking is that what this girl did should not be against the law. That it should be ok to put things in people’s food (including yours), make them sick, and get away with it. What this girl did is a minor offense, a misdemeanor. If she would have put some thing more poisonous into the food then it would have been a felony.
She apparently put food on his food, not rat poison.

I doubt it. The guy is likely a scum bag looking for some medical leave from work.

Well put.

Unless she was planning to stalk him for the next 20 years, secretly pouring extra salt on all of his meals until he developed congestive heart failure, I fail to see where there’s a crime. Criminally reckless? Really?

I’d have to side with the officer. A-salting someone is a serious offense.

I was surprised no one had used that line yet and I was considering using it myself, but I figured I would feel about as dirty doing so as the guy in the middle of a ghey bukake party.

You’re above posted website address is about an officer shot.

This thread is about an officer salted.

Honestly, your criticism has been grounded and fair. I just wanted to remind a few of the other cats posting immature, cunt shit on here of another reality of the police profession.

Their computers haven’t been stolen from them and they sit safely in their homes or offices because of the guys who strap on body armor to go to work every day.
My computer has not been stolen because of a kick ass security door and the policeman standing at the corner to guide school children through the traffic would not fit into body armour if his life depended on it.

That reply is so short-sighted and ignorant, I wont even bother to respond to it unless you can muster up something more substantial.

Living in another country I happen to know that our crime rate is definitely NOT much lower than the US`s because of our über-efficient police force, our tough on crime laws or because of BS prosecution tools like RICO or extended police powers.

And yet it is.

So no, I do not think I have to thank cops for my safety.

I push comes to shove I´d rather have a gun and my 2000 Euro door.

I have been away too long.

Goddamn, Push, I have missed reading your posts.

I overlooked the fact you are from Austria. That means you most likely have no business commenting on American law enforcement. The rest of the world comes to us to learn how to do it…I know this because I have seen the job postings for international training time and again and have considered it once or twice. I don’t know anything about Austrian police, so maybe they are not so good.

As usual, your comments miss the mark.

And as for your “2000 Euro” door, your house has no windows?

Sure, but what burglar would be dumb enough to try that on a pretty busy street.

They are looking for an easy entry.

Plus, what exactly is the world learning from you?

How to have more people incarcerated than anyone else and still having a brutal level of violent crime?

How to have snitches they created and protected have fabricating evidence for them?

How to turn street walking cops into a para-military occupying force?

How to not establish a chain of evidence because career DA´s have legal instruments and such high mandatory minimums that they do not have to prove shit, they get allmost anyone to accept a lesser sentence?

How to shoot people wo defend their homes in no-knock raids?

How to raid medical marijuana facilities based on a perversion of the Interstate Commerce Clause?

How to wiretap people and than threaten them with jailtime if they talk about it?

How to look into the notes of doctors, therapists of any kind, accountants and other people legally protected in civilized countries and threathening them with jail if they talk about it?

How to arrest people because of a FUCKING HAMBURGER?

You know, Mikeyali is right, if this is all part of the job the gang you belong to does on an everyday level, it says something about you that you chose it.

PS: official murder rate of Vienna 2006: 17

Solved so far 15, the last two of them happened in November and Dezember and are yet to solve.

Perhaps he lives in his parents windowless basement?

And judging by the absurd, fallacious rant above, runs a massive estrogen/hallucinogen manufacturing operation out of said basement.

No, in a treehouse in my parents backyard.

Once I pull the rope up I am safe.

Except for vampires.

They can fly.

Hey, with your reasoning skills you need a badge.

And a gun.

And backup.

and yet our country is the most popular in the world in regards to where people want to be, live, work and raise their children.

I just don’t read about a lot of folks running the border to live in Austria. Although I have been there and it is lovely.

Funny huh?

What? That you do not read that people run the border to live in Austria?

Well, they do, what has that to do with anything?

Most popular in the world…

You know that how? The same way you have the best justice and health care system in the world and you are the freest country ever?

You have been told often enough to believe it?
