Come on Mavs fans. Keep thinking happy thoughts: Remember Game 2.
Anything can happen. I just hope it happens the way I want it to.
GO MAVS

Spurs 06, baby. Spurs 06. ![]()
The law firm that I work for Represents the Spurs. The last few years our SA. office has had some interesting bet’s with our Dal office.
Ah, no way! That’s cool.
You in San Antonio?[/quote]
nah, I am from Houston.
I go there from time to time though.
The office Managing Partner in SA has a ring for every year they won. Replicas of course, but they were given to him by the team.

Yep. My 6 yr old said, “We lost! We’re suckers!” lol!
YIPEEEEE!
MAVS WIN!
That was probably the greatest NBA playoff series I’ve ever seen. Great teams. Great basketball. Great games.
And a great win for the Mavs. Bring on the Suns. Nash is the next former Maverick to go down.
That last play at the end of regulation killed me. I can’t believe that is the best Pop could come up with.
Damn it. Now I feel obligated to pull for Dallas. Texas team, the Little General and all that, but I want to smack Cuban every time he’s on the screen (although if I had that money at that age, I’d act the same way).
Mavs vs. Suns should be entertaining.
Well I am happy my prediction was wrong. One hell of a series though.
I like the Suns in this Dallas series. BUT WHO THE HELL ON THE SUNS IS GOING TO SLOW DOWN DIRK??!! Should be interesting. I bet he’ll be huffin’ & puffin’ with the fast pace. Muahahah!

My dis-like for Dallas is strong enough to keep me from rooting for a Texas team. I just can’t seem to like that team.

I’m not so sure. It wasn’t too long ago that the Mavs were just as fast paced as the Suns. Having watched both teams these playoffs, I can’t see the Suns beating the Mavs. I’d be saying the same thing about the Spurs had they won the series as well, and I am not a Spurs fan.

I thought the Suns would wipe the floor with the Mavs - if they had Amare they would - but after last night’s game I’m thinking twice. I think the Suns are the first team in awhile in the playoffs who are trying to outscore everyone instead of buckling down on defense. It’s amazing what Avery Johnson has done with the Mavs; I thought they’d never be able to play defense.
But I’d have to say whoever wins the Eastern Conference Finals is going to wipe the floor with the Suns or the Mavs.
An eastern confercence foe wipe the floor with either the mavs or suns. First set the record straight its the Mavs to the finals, do you people really think the suns have a chance? The aging heat against the Mavs not to mention home court advantage for us. The pistons who only play five just like the suns with very little depth at all. Fellows accept the fact that mavs are just toying with the suns. It will be over by game six. Once the finals arrive ya’ll will see the mavs are the superior team.
