Once I wore a medium to long hair:
but that time I had to wash my head at least once a day due to it being greasy all over (seborrhea?). Now I am considering of shaving my head conpletely - this greasiness drives me mad
How bout the ole gel/mousse greaser slickback look?
Yeah, but if you shave it, you’ll just have a greasy shiny dome up there. It’s not like the hair itself creates the oil. It’s the scalp.
Its not too bad since youll be covered in sweat, im in FL and train in a private gym and my garage which both hit over 110 degrees in the summer, I hate training in any weather under 75
If I had hair like that, I would do what Chris Hemsworth did with his hair in Thor. My problem with the man bun is, the only guys I see who wear it are total pussies, and I don’t see you as that OE. They are all rail-thin millenials who work at Whole Foods and are afraid of losing their abs if they go north of the 130 lb mark.
At 6’1 I’ve been as thin as 156 since I’ve been on this site!
I’ve been as high as 194 and now about at about 185. Maybe a little bit less now since yesterday I lost my appendix.
Sorry to hear bud, take it easy and let it heal. Did they go through your belly button, or through an incision on the side of your abdomen ? I think surgery on the back or abdomen is the worst, you learn about all these tiny muscles you never knew you used before.
It was laparoscopic with 3 incisions. One thru the belly button for the purpose of inflating my abdomen with CO2. Then two very low on the abdomen where they actually did the work.
It came on so fast it was crazy. I had to wake my wife at two in the morning to rush me to emergency.
I remember the pictures you posted Max. I got off very light by comparison.
Glad you’re ok man. And since my post has to be at least 20 character, I will say that I’m glad you’re ok again.
braid it or put it in a hair glove…especially if bike riding…
Update: At this point still shaggy. I’m going to at least need to buy a headband soon. Even though my hair is now 14 months old it’s still too short to do much with.
I have very long hair. I put it into a ponytail.
What I’m doing now is pulling the hair from the front and sides into kind of a high pony tail on the back of my head leaving the hair in back free. I like like it, a lot actually. It’s great not having hair in my face. I’m sure I probably look like a dork but hey, that’s authentic for me so it’s probably a good look.
You mean like Orlando Bloom in “Lord of the Rings”?
I used to do that sometimes when doing yard work.
Mine isn’t that long yet, but I’m thinking of going that way. Front is long enough to go past the tip of my nose though, so it gets in my face a decent amount. I use pomade to keep it laid down and back, as well as wearing hats a lot (especially at work). For in the gym, I cut the sleeves off an old brown quick dry tshirt and use that similar to a headband. Keeps the hair out of the way regardless of what I am doing.
But yeah, washing and conditioning takes a while. I have thick hair to begin with, so with it getting longer (I had to keep it short for 20 years, now I do what I want) I typically have to do the lather-rinse-repeat or it doesn’t feel clean.
