Low T and Symptoms, 26 Years Old

You don’t combat it, you stop clomid and you go on TRT. Lots of guys report that they don’t experience the well being feeling that they do on TRT. High prolactin could be a pituitary tumor.

Would switching to Nolvadex be a solution? Or any SERM will have the same bad sides?

Today i went back to my doc and he still wants me on Clomid 12.5mg EOD. He also prescribed Cabergoline 1x 0.25mg / week, to see how my prolactin respond. Isn’t the dosage too low? I see people take it twice a week. He said 514 (range 45-375 mIU/l) is not that high. He also suggested 200mg B6 Vitamin daily. Opinions?

Update:

Yesterday i took my first 0.25mg Cabergoline pill at 7pm. After 1.5 - 2 hours I took, I had a bit of nausea and didn’t feel so good but it went away within an hour or so.

Today I feel better, had wild sexual dream, morning wood, a bit more energy.

On the side note, i think my body got used to clomid because less frequently have those bitchy/moody moments.

Update:

Fresh bloodwork attached.

Prolactin went down from 514 to 421. E2 went down too from 113 to 94. Still not that nice, but I am getting there! The doctor now prescribed Cabergoline 2x 0.5mg / week. TT is nice. I feel better, clear head and overall good mood.

Since Cabergoline worked and prolactin dropped, my doc wants me to get off clomid and see how i do on Caber 2x 0.5mg / week with normal prolactin levels.

I was taking Clomid 12.5mg EOD, how should i taper it?

HPTA restart failed after Clomid 12.5mg EOD.

Shortly: i felt good, not perfect due the clomid causing bitchy mood side effect, but somewhat good. I slowly tapered clomid as it is written in the sticky thread.

Now i feel awful, like the death is knocking on the door, but i am 26 years old only.
I am dead tired all day long, no motivation to do anything, low stamina and no sex drive at all. Back to the same before i started clomid. My bloodwork is not out yet, so i don’t know numbers.

how things going? did you start TRT? how about dostinex?

Hello after a long time.

A little update for fellas suffering from the same symptoms.

So, I have tried and researched everything there is, but my T level just won’t go up. Doctors have no clue what is causing the issue. One of them honestly said “it is so complex that you might never know why your body is not capable of making enough testosterone” which you can imagine how sad to hear when you already feel low.

For me, the only way is TRT. :frowning:

Fellas who are reading this topic and fight with low T, just don’t give up and do your homework, read as many topics as you can. I did the same and learnt a lot via other people’s journey.

This is common… most people never find out why theirs is low.
