Low LH & FSH. High E2, Moderate Test

Yes, but that was likely advice for those injecting. There’s a difference. @KSman, please correct me if I’m wrong.

I’m wondering if that sweet spot of e2 being 22 is from a regular test or sensitive test? I’ve had others say that my e2 of 42 is fine because a sensitive test would be 10-20 lower.

HTC is fine, but becomes a concern if TRT takes HTC too high.

That depends on what a particular lab consideres regular, sensitive, ultra-sensitive. None of that is universal.

AI did not make you ill.

GF can test TSH, fT3, fT4
Also check if thyroid is enlarged, lumpy or asymmetrical
I have seen a plumpish woman who never used salt, enlarged thyroid, lumps gone hypo–>hyper become quite skinny. Your GF does not have much fat, you may be able to see thyroid if bigger.

Thyroid and other hormones can be coupled in women. Does she have any acne or unwanted hair growth [testosterone]. Problems with ovarian cysts [PCO
S]? Most women as they go through their 30’s start to loose progesterone levels and become estrogen dominant. That leads to painful periods, tender breasts, possible uterine cysts later on. I feel that progesterone support would prevent many female complications and cancers.

42 BPM, that is typical?

If you feel great on adex, no need to rush the labs. Two weeks if not right, 4 weeks otherwise.

Thanks @KSman. I stopped the adex for now. The only thing im taking is iodine 50mg per day and temps seem the same (low). I’ll continue taking iodine. THANK YOU for advice on my gf.

My plan with stopping the Adex is that I’m going to get a full panel done at once and see where I’m at.

Panel will include TT, FT, E2 sensitive, FSH, LH , PSA, Prolactin, Cortisol AM, TSH , Ft3, Ft4, Rt3, CMP, CBC. How important is SHBG? Add it? This is gonna be expensive but oh well. Anything else I should add while we’re at it?

Like i mentioned, someone mentioned that my E2 is fine because it’s probably 10-20 higher than it would show on a sensitive test. So I’m going back to natural and I’m going to test sensitive only from now on. My question though, assuming my e2 is indeed near the sweet spot, what could have caused my pre operation gyno and what could have caused my post operarion gyno? Prolactin?

@ksman tested again right now

144/72 50 bpm
131/77 55 bpm
142/72 56 bpm
133/66 51 bpm

Not sure how I got that 42 last time. I must’ve been really relaxed. But yes my heart rate is usually pretty low. I struggle to get it up to like 130ish when i do cardio.

I was just reading on how a heart rate lower than 60 could be early signs of heart disease and that it is also normal in trained athletes to have heart rates lower than 60. I’ve always been pretty active since being around 21 (I’m 29 now) and for the past 5 years I have been racing mountain bikes often at a competitive level. I would hope that I fall into the “trained athlete” category with my heart rate.

I also read that hypothyroidism slows down your heart rate.

Two weeks on IR. Are you watching body temperatures? Are you feeling different in terms of mood and energy?

Temperatures are the same. 96.9 waking and no higher than 98.3 ever. Any point in doing it for 4 weeks @KSman ?

Mood and energy seem to be at an all time low. Motivation to do anything is at an all time low. Falling asleep has become difficult. I sleep 6-8 hours but still don’t feel rested. I remember before when 6 hours was all I needed

Two weeks iodine 50mg should be adequate and you can go to a maintenance dose 6.25mg/week.

Your TSH will be elevated from the iodine for some time.

Your low energy is not from a simple case of low iodine.

Labs soon!

Can you break down for me how you made this liquid version. I’m an over responder and need to try this but I dont know the exact way to do it.

Thanks @ksman

Yeah I don’t know what happened. Lately I’ve been feeling pretty bummed out and depressed. I feel like I’m not making progress in the gym even though I probably am. I have raced mountain bikes at a very competitive level for the past few years and I recently just don’t feel like racing anymore or putting in the time to train for races. I have found myself being on Netflix or playing games on my phone very often now instead of being active like before (working out, long bike rides, walking the dogs etc). Maybe it’s all in my head I dont know.

  1. Get graduated cylinder.
  2. Get a pipete with mililiter markings on it.
  3. Choose your solvent, I go with water.
  4. Dissolve pill in amount of solvent. I put 1mg pill into 10ml water. I dose 1ml of solution a day with the pipette which gives me 1/10mg daily. Since I’m using water, I refrigerate the solution.

@gonadthebarbarian I’m wondering why you chose water over vodka? Does the water solution need to be used sooner? Is that why you only make 10 days worth at a time?

And @KSman and anyone else interested, I got labs done today and I should have them in 3 business days said the nurse that took my blood…but privatemdlabs said 7…so we’ll see

Labs included were CBC, CMP, TT, FT, E2, LH, FSH, TSH, FT4, FT3, RT3, Cortisol AM (8:10am), Prolactin.

Anastrozole has very little solubility in water. Freely soluble in alcohol. Vodka works and is something that one can expect to have around. With alcohol, bacteria cannot grow and the mixture will be stable fro a long time. 10 days is a silly limitation. Some products use glycerol& PEG etc instead of alcohol and those are very stable.

@KSman Lab Results are in. Taken 9/23/16 at 8:06 am.

On a side note…I feel as if my hair might be getting thinner. Or maybe i’m over thinking things. My mother and Father have full heads of hair. My oldest brother (36 years old), has obvious hair thinning. My other older brother (34 years old) has always had thin hair but now his hair line is receding a little bit. I have always had really thick and somewhat curly hair but lately it has seemed to be thinner and not as curly.

Can anyone help me out here? My FSH is very low. Second time testing and it dropped by .1

I can still get erections. It’s a little hard to focus and finish the job but I still finish the job. I know my body temps would say that I am hypothyroid but I don’t feel cold easily. Actually I’ve always ran pretty hot and I have to sleep with the AC on every night or else it’s hard to sleep.

What was protocol?
Any anastrozole and for how long?
Increase dose by a factor of 30.3/22

FT is lowish and E2=30 is making you estrogen dominant.

HTC makes sense VS T levels.

fT4 is well below mid-range.
fT3 is a bit low re mid-range.
Iodine was a nice try, but looks like things are a bit low.
rT3 seems OK vs range, but this range is oddly higher than other labs that would make you border-high.

I do not know what these are telling me:
MCV 96 (79-97) Borderline High
MCH 33.7 (26.6-33.0) HIGH
MCHC 35.3 (31.5-35.7) Borderline High

HTC is fine. But if you do TRT, you may need to loose blood cells.

Decrease in FSH discouraging.

@KSman

I took exemestane 25mg eod twice then started Anastrozole .25mg e3d but I was only on an AI for a total of 10-11 days. So i only took a total of 50mg exemestane and .50mg of Anastrozole in those 10 days. Then I STOPPED all AI for 10 days then took the new labs. My theory is that I crashed my E2 in those 10 days and when i stopped for 10 days thats when it was slowly creeping back up to the 40 range.

FSH is very discouraging. So this would be considered primary? Would Clomid be of any help here? Or HCG?

I choose water over vodka because I don’t drink anymore and I avoid alcohol. Long story. I refrigerate the water solution. Never thought of making a bigger batch, once every 10 days hasn’t been an issue for me. I keep a graduated cylinder next to the sink.

@KSman any update would be awesome. Thanks.
