Do you find better libido on daily vs any other frequency? And how do you compare libido on 100 vs 150 vs 180 vs 200?
@sublimeprince32
Libido has been great from 150-200mg. I have great libido on daily but I’ve also been on daily the longest. For me libido takes a while to come back after a protocol change (3+ months). Usually the last thing to come for me.
Any libido at lower dosages?
Yeah but not consistent. At higher dosages I’m like a kid during puberty every day/night.
Thank you @dextermorgan @pyater
Do you think you are good with 55 ferritin? Or should it be more? @dextermorgan
Also how your HCT is so low with that dosage is beyond me.
What is your DHT? I can’t get my DHT to increase with 75mg twice a week protocol
It’s over 100 now.
Total daily:
150mg elemental iron
Vitamin C 2000mg
L-lysine 1300mg
Truthfully I’ve never had it tested. I will be getting bloods soon and will add it.
I use Transcrotal cream - DHT above normal range (ranges 122-170). Opposite problem - concerned too high. Libido great! just want to watch hair loss or prostrate issues. You may want to consider trying some form or combo therapy.
I am still taking 27 MG of Chelated iron ferrous bisglycinate, three times per day with Vitamin C 500 Mg and l-lysine 1,000 mg as well
Before starting TRT 6 months ago my Ferritin was at 974 ( I felt like crap ) and my test was low 300 …
6 months later my Ferritin is at 274 to 333 … hopefully within 1 year It should stabilize to normal levels.
last 3 blood test results
Ferritin 974, 274, 333
ALT – 254, 114 , 144
I’m taking 25mg DHEA in the AM on an empty stomach also taking 6000IU D3, omega 3 and 1 R lopic Acid supplement with my biggest meal.
My private clinic has me on this regiment so far I feel amazing and aches and pains have dropped by 95%
I also got lower ferritin after 3 months of sustanon
139.9> 33.6
Planning to start taking iron pills
I started out on 200mg of cyp every 10 days, way to much. Then 50mg every 3.5 days, still caused me heart palpitations, high blood pressure, anxiety. I was told to take 50mg of cypionate every 3.5 days. Started having heart palpitations, donated whole blood, due to, hematocrit 52.6 & RBC 6.6. That didnt help. Went to my primary doc & he told me I should only be taking 50mg every 7 days, & overtime the overlap of half life & dosing would be at a point to have normal levels. He said, when you give a person w/ low T a high dose its like putting a Nascar engine in a old beat up rust bucket. Shocks the system. Then, referred me to a Urologist to further bloodwork & treatment. He also, said your total Testosterone isn’t the most important as Free T & SHBG. Total T is just your storage tank. Just like ferritin is your storage tank for iron. But to much testosterone creates too many RBC’s that eats up your storage (ferritin). Because TRT blocks a chemical in your body that tells this other chemical to stop transporting iron throughout the body. There’s a way to raise your ferritin w/ out raising RBC, Hemoglobin, ect. Its like 5 to 7 day protocol.
Here’s the link, Fixing High Hemoglobin or Hematocrit and Low Ferritin While on TRT
But go by the protocol to the letter, & I wouldnt do it unless you discuss it w/ your doctor first. Because, Ive never done it & its always best to be cautious. Im going to get them to check my ferritin & I bet its causing my heat palpitations. Try doing 50mg every 7 days. I know alot of folks are going to say thats nuts, but i did the samething you did dropped my dose to 40mg every 3.5 days & nothing helped. Im going to follow my doc’s advice & start taking 50mg every 7 days as he suggested. A regular healthy man only produces 6mg to 15mg of testosterone a day & that number fluctuates up & down each day. Depending on sleep, workout, stress, ect. So to have those peaks & valleys is normal. Whats not normal is a 200mg, 100mg shot that will cause large peak & a large valley. Your body doesnt work like that. But its all in how you feel & if you feel like crap you gotta do what you gotta do & go low. You can always bring it up a little if needed. Just dose at the same day & time. The half life of cypionate is 8-10 days. In my opinion every 3.5 days introducing large amounts of test is causing these issues for both of us if not alot of us. I see alot of discussions on heart palpitations. Everyone is different. God bless, & good luck.
How did the Vorck method work for you? I am very excited to try it.
This seems contrary to the fundamental reasoning behind Vorck. To me this just looks like iron supplementation. Vorck is about hacking your body to produce something else, and then laying off the iron so you don’t needlessly push up your Hematocrit.
I actually feel good with ferritin on the lower end. I stopped my iron supplements more than two months ago and I have had four phlebotomies, the last one was done two days ago with my ferritin at 56 a week before.
When my ferritin was at 56, my hemoglobin was at 18.1 and hematocrit 54.9%.
Boy, do I feel amazing!
I will never again recommend someone take iron supplement, even if they have low ferritin unless they’re having problems.
Your case is unique as all all of ours. My ferritin is at 29 pre-draw and I feel awful. Lethargic, need naps, frequent depression. HCT above 52. Hemoglobin above 17. All of the other related values are good. Post-draw I’m sure it’s bottomed out and symptoms are worse.
