Going on 3 months battling the effects of a crashed Estradiol. Result from blood test yesterday and it was 9.4. Actually went down from 11 a few weeks ago. I haven’t taken an AI since May and recently switched 4 weeks ago to Sub Q injections twice a week of .35 instead of .7 weekly IM.
My test level was right at 1000. Bloodwork was taken 2 days after my injection.
Could the sub Q switch have had an effect?
Could sublingual HCG have a negative effect ?
Any help would be appreciated as I was shocked it had actually lowered. Thanks
Your TT was 1000ng but e2 was only 9.4ng?
Yes. Not good. I’m so confused on how it can stay that low.
I had more estrogen on SQ.
Sublingual HCG is destroyed in the gut, it’s a waste on money. Now you know your doctor is operating in the dark and is probably new at this hormone business.
Yeah. I didnt really need HCG before. Not concerned with having kids. but the Dr wanted me to try it to help with E2 levels. I can get injections and will switch.
Is it possible to take estradiol directly to increase it quickly if needed?
You may not aromatize a lot, that’s not unheard of. You can take topical estradiol or a pill along with T if you need to get e2 up.
Taking real HCG should help with some e2 production, I’m just amazed your body doesn’t aromatize T that much.
Yes.
SubQ has fewer blood vessels so the T is cleved and released into the blood slower than IM. Also the larger the dose the more E2 you should make so going back to a weekly shot would also help you make more E2. HCG is a great E2 maker I will recommend 400iu twice a week that can be subQ. Best of luck to you. Make sure you are not taking any supplements that reduces amortization of E2. Crap like DIM.
